Classic Teams named coming soon

I've decided to take on the task of naming the classic teams.

I'll start today and plan on doing 1-3 teams a day and will post it on 2kshare at the end of each week until completed. I'm not going to make any rating or facial changes etc. Just naming them.

This was done a long time ago for PS3 and 360, just letting ya know and saving you a lot of work perhaps.

i saw where you had like 17 teams left but o well. I've got like 6 or 7 down already. Plus this will be my contribution to CHoops.

3 teams i need so far 79 Michigan State and Indiana State and 95 Tar Heels if anyone could hep out with that

Here are their rosters, but they don't list player #'s. Assuming 2k actually has the real rosters instead of just bogus made up ones (like EA), you should be able to figure out who is who based on their class, height, and position.

i know no one hasnt commented in a while but will there be the unlockable rosters? like the teams in the shrine?

If there is some way to upload a profile with all teams unlocked,or if it can be done via transfer kit,then uploaded into any roster file,these cab be banged out very quickly.

this is 2k6? do they still have the same teams? except like 2006 florida and ohio state

Yeah,the teams are the same,the players are even in the same order as on the FAQ.08 did away with a few teams like '66 and '78 Kentucky,but added '90 Loyola Marymount(who I have the proper info for).
07 Florida and OSU can be obtained from the team websites.

ive decided im not going to post until i have them all done. I have about 17 done right now but took a few days off because of Christmas. Yes it will have the rosters for the unlocked team. Just a question. Does it need to be attached to a profile to have the unlocked team rosters on there?

No,the teams will show up named as people unlock them.

Lots of these teams have a few incorrect jersey numbers. I researched NCAA 09's classic teams and found that website to be pretty unreliable.

Pish! What do you mean they're not good? Most other classic rosters are just named, mine have correct skin colors (mostly) and even resemble their real-life counterparts! Other classics that I have d'loaded (and I do mystery shop the competition) still have the generic skins that came with the game...Quinn Snyder, J. Fryer as black? Hell, in my rosters Andy Kaufman even has his mullet! Marcus Liberty has his pornstache! Michael Graham is bald! You know who the hell those guys even are? And in my opinion, the best part about my rosters are how I used the really old teams...pre-'83 and such...as better/funner teams to play as. How many really play with the '57 San Francisco Dons? So I just changed 'em to Rex Chapmans Kentucky squad and so on....I even got Sam Cassell and Bob Sura's FSU squad in there!

Hell, I love 'em...but of course I could be biased.

Shane Battier/Jalen Rose/Mookie Blaylock/Sam Cassell have their Easter Island-like skulls.
Isaiah Rider goes by "J.R." just like he did playing off "The Strip".
Sherman Douglas is so black, he urinates oil.
Hank Gathers has more sweatbands/kneepads than Oshmans.
Rumeal Robinsons Freethrow rating is like 99%.
UMass wears their black kicks.


Anyway, no hard feelings...just kinda giving you "the business". Kinda bored too. I guess what I'm trying to say is...I miss my Dad.
