Shooting tips for various players....
I'm proposing a thread for those of us struggling to learn various players signature shot. I'm not sure about everyone else but I personally seem to struggle more shooting than I have in previous 2k games. With the help and participation of this thread of fellow OS'ers I'm sure we could make this game more enjoyable for all of us.
Can we start with someone please giving me a tip for Kobe's jumper......I always wanted to be somebody, but I should have been more specific!Tags: None -

Re: Shooting tips for various players....
I love the thought of this thread, it could really be helpful if we actually use it.
Those struggling with lebrons shot, you need to wait until he is on his way down to release, right when he starts coming down from his highest point is when you release.
I saw one for rudy fernandez on his you just need to wait until his little curl type thing is done, he kind of rolls in the animation so when he finishes that little roll that's when you release.
I have a feeling no one knows how to shoot with kobe or wade they both have shoots that seem to be inconsistent at best on this game with the release point.Comment

Re: Shooting tips for various players....
I use to have a lot of problem with Wade's shot. Recently though I have gotten the hang of it, and now it's one of the most consistent shots in the game for me.
When Wade goes up, wait till the very top of his jump. There is a slight hiccup in the animation, it feels like a very short hitch. If you release the second you feel this hitch, the shot is pretty much money. Hope this helps. And if anyone can help me with Carlos Boozer's shot that would be awesome.April 12 is Stack's dayComment

Re: Shooting tips for various players....
Great idea for thread.
^^The guy is right about LeBron. Let go when he is at the very top of the jump, right before he is on his way down.
I have a few players I have in draft leagues that I struggle with consistency, even after spending a lot of time in the practice gym. Anybody have any tips on Deron Williams' and Carmelo's shot??
Any help is appreciated.Comment

Re: Shooting tips for various players....
I might be going crazy but...
Does Troy Murphy have two different shot motions? Or am I just seeing things? One is a pretty basic jumper, the other is almost a Shawn Marion-type (I think I've only seen this while shooting a 3pt.)Comment
