Here's the thing, EA is going to spend dev time on something other than the major issues and everyone knows it. If that weren't the case there wouldn't be so many complaints about gameplay year after year and we'd all be asking for improvements in other areas.
Knowing that, I'd be happier with a game that included features I want (CAS in particular) and average gameplay; similar to how online dynasty remains popular despite all the workarounds needed.
