Los Angeles Lakers 2007-08 Season Out-Look!
The Lakers did not start off the 2007-08 season good. Kobe Bryant wanted to be traded away to a contender. Kwame Brown had surgury and wasnt a great contribution. With that the Lakers traded Kwame Brown,Rookie Javaris Crittenton, Veteran Aaron Mckie, Draft Rights for Marc Gasol, and 2 First round picks for Pau Gasol and a Second Round Draft Pick. Lakers also went on to trade for Trevor Ariza which gave a spark to the bench. None other than the great Derek Fisher left Utah Jazz to sign with the Lakers. 2007-08 season was at first a bumpy start but ended up being a great season and ending up in the NBA Finals. Yet with Andrew Bynum injured the Boston Celtics tore the Lakers apart. The Lakers lost to the Boston Celtics in 6 games. 4-2. Kobe Bryant and the Lakers ended the 2007-08 season with Kobe's First MVP and wanting Revenge.

      2008-09 Season Summary!
During the Offseason, Sasha Vujacic was the first to resign with the Lakers. The Lakers gave him a 3 YR/15.00M contract. Andrew Bynum was next to sign. Bynum got a 4 YR/57.4M contract extension. With Ronny Turiaf leaving for the Golden State Warriors, the Lakers had no choice but to sign Josh Powell to a 1 YR contract. What is going to happen? Are the Lakers going to make back the NBA Finals? Is revenge coming on the Boston Celtics? Only time will tell!
