Are we seeing a ball coming at us this year and not a white dot?
I ask because one view almost looked like the batting view and I saw a ball. ... but could have just been for the video.

You know I played this game today at my friends house. I was showing him some of the fielding things that needed attention, those slow throws to 2nd, etc., I don't get this white dot thing unless it's your t.v. We talked about this, replayed the game, watched it and the ball in The Show 08 has actually seams and tumbles when it's thrown.

Only in the replays, not while you're batting and pitching.
at least not when you play alone.

I've played it on my 56" 1080P TV, my 32" 720... looks the same, white dot.

in replays, its a real looking ball.

That Texiera(I think) homerun looked beautiful.
The Stadium looks GREAT!
I don't know if I'm right or not...but it looks like they even got less duplicates in the crowd.
I'm glad my wife is not home right now to see me weeping.

why is it every year the pitching and batting animations look the same? If one player can have a signature pitch delivery; (example; Cole Hamels,) why can't all pitchers at least have a better generic delivery? The classic example of what drives me nuts is that Johan Santana delivery...nobody pitches like that...

dude, really, take a walk, I bet you only own an Xbox or something, stop hating, it's getting annoying.

Just a heads up and because comments like this drive me insane - we have completely seperate areas of the team working on completely separate and diverse issues. Its not like the guy who works on our crowds can just say screw my graphics job, I'm going to work on nebulus "gameplay issues" or anything else for that matter.

Please people, I want you all to realize:

1) If you've asked for it in the past, or we've seen a need for it, it's on a list.
2) If the phrase "I dont see how hard it could be to just add XXXX" was true, we'd do it.
3) We task out team as best we can. We have limited resources and time in every area - taking from one does not equate gaining in another.
