I've tried everything including dummy sliders etc but can't get the cpu to run the darn ball. I even pass playmaker every down to give them a edge and it doesn't work. For instance, I'm playing the Saints in the NFC championship game at the start of the 3rd quarter and Bush has only 13 yards and only 7 carries. I'm sorry for ranting but this doesn't make the game enjoyable unless it's a flaw in this years game which it might be. My run defense is all the way up to 20. I don't have any problem running the ball ap has 56 yards on 13 carries. It just gets frustrating.

So, sorry about my rant, but how do you get the cpu to run the ball efficiently and effectilvy?

I feel ya man, this is just one of those issues that has always been a problem since the beginning of Madden, teams that consistently run the ball and overpower teams every sunday, should do the same thing on Madden, the cpu should know the strenths and weaknesses of every team and use them accordingly, IMO its common sense.

Know that I'm done with my rant, here is my advice and the only thing that will force the cpu the run more, turn all of the rush defense sliders to 0, u will give up a big run once in awhile and it will be challenging to stop the run, but the cpu should run successfully which tends to force the cpu the commit to it alot more. Hope this helps..
