Just reading over at 2K's website and saw he made the jerseys exclusive to the newest 1/22 update. Found it funny he made it sound like a convenience saying that we don't have to enter a code no more but simply they are available after the download.

It'll be way easier to use a code; a lot of us don't use 2K's roster files. I'm pretty sure all the stuff including animations can be put in a code.

I feel as though the best route may be for NBA 2K to offer the 2009 All-Star jerseys both through official roster update or through code, thus providing an option for the user. One would suspect codes may in fact become an option, with a Codes section still holding place inside the NBA 2K9 Features section on the main menu.

I replied to the thread they started at the 2K Insider page and asked for them to release a code for those of us who want to input it into our existing rosters and Associations. He conveniently didn't respond.

I thought the whole point of adding a code feature in Association mode was for unlocking things like the All-Star jerseys. Apparently the codes aren't going to be used at all this year. Guess they figure "living rosters" are enuff. But IMO they should offer both, especially for people that don't have online access.

It has already been stated many of times that there is no codes for the animations andthey can't release them through a code.

Didn't catch that, everything they're putting in is already on the disc though; just a mere option of whether its unlocked or not. so yeah its just 2K.
