It was the N64 version of the game that came out in May of 1998, and included the 98 Indians roster.

The two teams that come to mind for me that will probably not be on this list are the Houston Rockets from NBA Live '95 and the all star team, featuring a player named "Air Allnite" from David Robinson's Supreme Court.

The Rockets team from NBA Live had starters Vernon Maxwell, Kenny 'The Jet' Smith and Robert Horry draining 3's and a front court that dominated on both ends in the paint in the form of Otis Thorpe and Hakeem Olajuwon. If that line-up got tired of blowing you out they'd sub-in the likes of Mario Elie, Sam Cassell and (inexplicably) Matt Bullard who would continue to the scoring barrage. If the game could have included Cassell's ‘Testicle Dance’ into the game I would have angrily rammed my SNES through a wall.

In David Robinson's terrible game there were no preset teams every game would start with a fantasy draft where one could choose from of all of the players in the game. If you played against a friend the winner would be determined by who was randomly selected to pick their player first because that person would always take a blonde, unassuming guard named Air Allnite who MURDERED EVERYONE. He made at least 95% of any shot he took once he crossed the half-court line. There was little difference between the 2nd best player and the worst player in that game, but the difference between Allnite and the No. 2 guy was immeasurable...actually it wasn't, it was usually measured by a final score of 150 - 65. Curse you David Robinson for introducing that pixilated man into my life and subsequently, my nightmares.

Wow, silly me for not even realizing you were talking about the N64 version in the list.

No worries- it looks like I forgot to denote it was for the N64 version in the article.

I did not play people as much as I played the CPU growing up.

So here is 2 teams that were dominant in that they were hard to beat when the CPU was in control of them.

              1. Chicago Bulls from the original NBA JAM. Pippen and Grant had such rediculous defensive ratings on the arcade game it was just unfare.

              2. Brazile in World Cup 98 for the playstation. The game made playing defense very difficult and frustrating on the highest difficulty setting. Then having to face a loaded offensive team made the furstration worst. Not being able to move the ball past midfield and times also was unbearable.

Dallas Cowboys in Madden with Emmit, Aikman, Irvin, Moose, and Harper. Emmit Smith could not be stopped. It was HB Dive all day long. I hated that team.

Colorado in Bill Walsh football was amazing with Rashaan Salaam and Kordell Stewart. The option was unstoppable with those guys. Nebraska was great too with Tommie Frazier and Lawrence Phillips.

I have to agree with the others that said the 49ers from Tecmo Super Bowl should be #1. The Knicks on Tecmo NBA were unstoppable. John Starks from the top corner from 3 hit like 90%. I believe this was a glitch but Starks was so much better than anyone else. Definite cheese.
