post game

Im having a blast playing this game but its just so damn frustrating tryin to set up a good solid offensive post game. my man will do something stupid like a fadeaway when im trying to just go towards the basket or dude wont even move. and whats with you not being able to back dudes down anymore? i need some help on this like moves i can do an explination of some sort of why my man wont dribble when i pass it to him down low. i play with the 2k cam if that helps any

1. If ur trying to back some1 down but they're pushing u out or ur not moving at all, u can try to spin off them.

2. if u tap the right stick to the same side twice quickly and hold it down the 2nd time, ur guy will do a move where he does two fakes and then a hook shot thing that is a great go to move.

3. if u get the ball in the post and still haven't used ur dribble, tap the right stick to 1 side and press the hop step button and ur guy will do a pump fake into a drop step that gets him to the basket.

Anyone else have tips for the post game?...and im having trouble doing that spin move how is it done?

Te best thing to do is to go to the tutorial section in the game and go through the moves there. I acutally like the post game. It is not a straight gimme as it has been in the past. big men can still make a apretty huge impact on the game.

For me (and this is playing online) my biggest problem is with playing defense.....but I am getting better at it. You have to mix it up. Different plays..player-lock, manual D, deflect passes, etc.

To do the spin move, back the man down pointing the left stick one way, then move the left stick to the other side and he should do the spin move if u give it a little bit of time to make the move.

It's not as dominant as it was in 2k8, but you can still get a decent amount of success with it if u don't overuse it. Also, if you ever use Shaq, that move would probably be the way to go. Nobody does the spin like Shaq.

Try out a lot of different combinations with the shot stick too. Like if u tap it to a side and then towards the basket I think they'll pumpfake, square up and hit a nice short jumper. That drop step that I told u about is my favorite tho.

but why cant i back down a guy into the paint anymore? the computer does it to me but i cannot do it to them. did it disappear with the patch or something?

because 2k screwed that up with the patch... Hopefully they own up to it and fix it..
