Plays well but why are CB's rated so low and their tackling is set at 10?

well... good question and thanks for the feedback.. IM tired of the CBS making tackles on RBS like Barber, Jacobs and JOhnson.. it seems like they tackle too easy ... do you have any suggestions ? I lke the fact i can have a RB bull over a weak corner lol.. which corners are rated low..it could be that there strength is low this seems to effect the ratings?

Actually, when editing my 2K5 roster, here's what I did for CB's. I only increased or decreased their coverage attribute. I rounded out all CB's pass rush attribute to the nearest 0 or 5. Their run coverage and tackle attribute were also rounded out to the nearest 0 or 5 depending on the overall rating. I realized that pass rush doesnt affect the overall rating at all while run coverage and tackling does but very little. I can sometimes increase a CB's run coverage and tackling attributes by 20 or more and the overall rating barely increases or decreases.

I didnt look over the entire roster file as im still busy fixing up some things in my own file but if I remember correctly, the only negative that I noticed right away was the tackling attribute set at 10 for all CB's.

I mostly get tackled by LB's since I tend to run up the middle especially when playing against a 3-4 team but I can still run them over depending on what my RB's break tackle rating is.

What are your thoughts on coverage,,, I will see what I can do with the tackle rating..I woudnt focus on the ratings.. i global edited all receivers to 85 catch. I borrowed the Idea from a person on this forum ..there are still way to many drops hell i have Fitzgerald catch 100 .. he still drops passses!!

Wow!! this is a very agressive roster and the hits are explosive! I enjoyed it greatly. The only question I have is how do you get the corners to play a little better coverage without playing a great deal of zone coverages for most of the game? For the most part it is very fast and hard hitting i enjoyed it. Thanks for all of the rosters and the work and imput everyone has had it makes for an excellent experience!!

Thats a tough one... im still tweaking that... and thanks for your feedback Simeoncam50 .. have you noticed the detail of every individual player. Each player was modified by my countless hours of viewing NFL replay on tivo..

I did notice i went to the cardinals first because of Kurt Warner wearing two gloves. I will look for more tonight. I also noticed T.O had a clear visor does he still wear that? Keep it up I am back on itright now trying to get a win today lol! Last night was not a good one but it keeps me on my toes for sure.

True... i like the details .. try to be as accurate as possible.. even have travis laboys arm brace on.. Some of the white plyers with long hair i gave dreads .. best i could do it works for me.. others probally wont like to each his own
