Well, I just played another legend game (no indications, etc.) and won
Rays(me) 3 6 1
Phillies 1 5 2
After a very clean 1st attempt, this was a slop fest...lol. I actually saw a new error animation (new to me anyway) were the 3B threw an off balance thow to first and it ended up bouncing and skidding about 3 feet in front of first. It then bounced off the first baseman (or just under him) flew up HARD and went into the dugout. Pretty cool (and led to a run for me

).
My runs were scored off of that awesome error, a HR by Pena and a gap double were Upton scored from 1st

.
I really like the feel of this game. It just feels more "complete." Not sure what it is exactly, probably just the sum of it's parts. I pooped in 08 for comparison and even in this older demo buid, boy, what a difference!
I L-O-V-E the OF play this year. Really feels more open and you can tell the range difference between your fielders. You could get close to it in 08 with edits, but nothing like this out of the box. Very nice.
I hold to my earlier assessment that the AI seems much more "locked" at the plate and really does pull the ball with more authority. Miss inside and either your corener infielders are losing their head, the corner OF is visiting the wall, or the fans get a souvenir...lol.
The bat speed definitely feels faster and that may be a part of theimproved pulls as well. I gotta say the way the ball screams off the bat with good contact is impressive
Anyway, 1-1 on Legend (though I understand it's even tougher in the newer build and likely even more than that in the final...yikes).
More to come later...
