When i ask for "dna" like nba live i dont mean the same 1. Clearly it needs 2 be simplified 2 adjust 2 the number of college athletes. Maybe 4 or 5 more rating(or something else) that affects there tendencies in the game. Maybe for Athletism, Contact, Instinct, Big Play ability something like that. So they can scrap the whole play maker feature because it not working. It has been over done then under done its just pointless. And the whole 3 per team thing isnt realistic. Im dreaming big but isnt that how all big things start!Comment

And @ the other talking about the line play. I see your point, but they still marketed it as a whole package. I can remember the dev blog talking about how "you can now literally see the holes open up! the players block realistically and drive and open holes". It was a lod of bull. And that still doesn't explain the times when a lineman completely runs by the guy he's supposed to block. It'd be one thing if it was sometimes, but it's ALWAYS on certain plays.
And I'm not nearly as pessimistic as I sound. I've played NCAA some every day for the past couple months. I enjoy the game a lot. But the blocking and passing games really get me going when I get to talking about them. I've gotten so well at coping with 09 because I've learned to accept it for what it is.
I'm still waiting for a complete game. And when I see them put stuff like PA in, and have them act like it's a big deal when it doesn't affect AI, and doesn't affect how the game plays overall, that annoys me. It makes me wonder if they even WANT their game to play better.
I mean, go look at the new Madden feature. Oh wow, better statistical keeping, half sacks, etc. Congrats on putting something in the game that was in NFL 2k5. only took you five years after 2k5's release.Last edited by MtneerManiac; 02-16-2009, 04:59 PM.Comment

I think they shouldn't have said anything about releasing updates because people keep looking for them and they are no where to be found. They should just release what they can when they can. Just dont say your going to release something almost every week to coincide with Madden.Comment

Greg on NCAA Strategies just said that they are finalizing things on the alpha which take up a lot of their time and that they are also finalizing their releasing of info. I think they just showed a demo of NCAA to Peter Moore as well. He said we should know something soon and they are hoping to get some real info to us by the end of the month.Comment

rudy does Greg have a single thread that he is releasing info at ncaa strat? Or is he doing what Adam is doing here commenting on many threads? I have been over there a few times but have been having trouble finding any of the EA guys talking about 2010... I get lost easily there and just stay here on OS. Easier to navigate personally...

It's been respectful because a lot of the people here aren't there... sorry to say it, but the smaller userbase over there helps with communication. Hopefully some of the "EA sux, NCAA is trash, where's 2K5" and other mindless rants stay over here and don't pollute the great interaction with devs.
Anyways, the announcement for NCAA was scheduled for LATER this week and it's only Wednesday. What's the panic about?Comment
