No. Listen, I have posted my gripes and issues with the game(s) since the beginning of time. Why do the players walk across a freshly watered infield in the first inning, and have poofs of clay shooting out from their spikes? Have any of these designers actually stepped out on a field? Dirt does not shoot up in the air like freaking PigPen from the Peanuts cartoon. It is silly and ridiculous, and 2k continues to think that they need to have it in there. On a slide, that's great, show off your particle animations. When Youk walks to the bag in the first...yeah, not so much.
Collision detection. Hey maybe some year, we'll have guys who adhere to some principles of physics out on the field. last I checked, there was this little thing called mass vs space. Basically this means that a batboy cannot morph through the next batters' body in some Martix-esque shift of time and spatial relationships. And yet... watch the video.
So, no, I am not above the critique and conversations of flaws and issues of the games. But for crying out loud, if you watch a 1/2 inning of a game and based solely on the fact that YOU didn;t see enough grounders, and YOU felt the cpu swung at too many pitches, and YOU are one of the thousands of us who...get ready here, HAVEN'T PLAYED THE FU**ING GAME YET, making broad statements on how the game is going to be no good, is just plain asinine.
That's what I get irked about. Don't complain that Juan Pierre's socks are 1/4" higher than they are in real life. Complain that the 12-6 curveball doesn't actually get to the plate with that goofy animation they insist on portraying the curveball as looking like.
Lets go for the meat and potatos man, not the gravy.

Any ways can't we all just get along. I like what I saw. Except for Steve pushing hurry up with the animation. I like to see it all play out. I am hoping it is all real time. Meaning no fast plays. Like during foul balls. I have been waiting for a game to play everything out for so long.
