    Opening Day Lineups

I admit I'm stealing this idea from the 2k Forum but I think it's a good idea..

It'd be nice for people to post teams that have posted projected opening day lineups, this way people can easily fix the lineups at games release.

Also if you know a likely rotation, feel free to post as well

    Figure'd I'd give it a shot:

Even though MLB.com says that Thome will bat in front of Dye, I highly doubt it. Last year the Sox had Quentin, Dye, Thome, as their 3,4,5 hitters and I suspect they're going to do the same next season. Thome is getting older, and isn't the best hitter on the team. If Lillibridge wins the 2B job, which may happen, the lineup may look like this:

    1. 2B - Lillibridge
    2. C - Pierzynski
    3. LF - Quentin
    4. RF - Dye
    5. DH - Thome
    6. 1B - Konerko
    7. SS - Ramirez
    8. 3B - Fields
    9. CF - Owens/Anderson

      Re: Opening Day Lineups

I also expect Cuddyer to bat 4th in front of Morneau in the Twins lineup as he has the past 2 seasons.
