As for player models. A lot look wacky. Some look good.

Look at Chase Utley and his Massive hands and forearms when he is at bat using him. They all have small torsos, with fat butts, waist, and legs. Howard is laughable, looks short and pudgy in his stance. Ibanez looks like he has a 44 inch waist.

You want to talk about proportions, both games suffer now.

Like the bat boys.

No demo on live for me. Oh well. I always seem to live in a place that is forgotten...lol.

Not really sweating it. Saw the impressions thread and was like "oh yeah...". I'm sure it will show later and I'll give it a try then.

uhhh, just hit a grounder between 1st and 2nd, Howard fields it and with no one near the first base bag, he decides to chuck a shovel pass towards the tarp....

One more thing before I hit the hay. I absolutely hate the baserunning controls. Should have had a few runs in the game, but didn't know which button to press. No in-game manual either.

Its going to take a while to get used to, but so far I'm not liking the controls at all.

Oh, and the demo is only 3 innings, even if its a tie after those 3. No extra innings.

poop...lol. That kinda sucks.

Liking the presentation.
No option to change controls or camera.
No subs.
First pitch is a low and away fastball,popped foul,nice running grab.
Next is a terribly thrown curveball that's grounded to short.
Low and away fastball again,grounder to first,
3 up,3 first pitch swings,3 down.

Awful,awful,awful batting camera.
Lineout to left for Rollins after 5 pitches.
Lineout to left for Weryth after 4 pitches.
Strikeout on a terrible strike call for Utley.

Groundout to start the 2nd.
Great comentary.
Longeria lines out to left on another terribly thrown pitch.
A should've been ground out apprently turned into an error. I don't know what the hell that throw was. Throw it like a hail mary in football.
Foul back for Navarro,no netting while the ball was in play,it's there while on the mound though.
Flyout.

Opposite field HR Howard on the first pitch in the bottom of the 2nd. Not much of a celebration.
Flyout to left from Ibanez.
Everything but the playerfaces look really good.
Clouds move in the backround.
Flyout to left for Victorino.
Flyout to left for whoever that was.

Grounder to first on a bad pitch.
The AI gets subs.
Bloop to CF.
Nice to see the activity in the dugout.
Did I mention how great the comentary is?
Ground to the pitcher,underhanded throw to first.
Crowd boos a ball that was in the same spot Utley struckout on.
Fans fight over a foul ball.
Ground out to Utley for out #3 and that's it.

Hammels gets player of the game,the names on the back of the jerserys look nice.
There were no replays or post game highlights in the demo.

+ Good graphics overall
+ Decent animation
+ Presentation is solid and I assume will only get better in the full game (just letting it run when typing this up and Pena just started yelling at the ump over a bad call and I notice dust kicks up along/sweeps across the first baseline)
+ Good soundtrack from what's in the demo
+ Sound overall seems to stand out (not so much the batting but everything else)
+ Crowd is better than it's been recently
+++ I said how awesome the comentary is right?

- Terrible pitching controls,I assume they can be changed in the full game but this stick thing is still bad,it is an improvement over what it was but still not any good
- Player faces not so good
- Jaggies in some places from some angles

? Possibly bad fielding controls but again might not have to use them,it might just be because I don't really understand them so this one is up in the air

I find it hard to judge gameplay exactly based on the demo without all the options,especially in controls but it seems like a decently sized improvement,not massive but I think it's been brought to acceptable levels.

Gave up a walk-off HR to the Phillies, everyone comes out of the dugout. But that's it they all stand spread out about 5 ft from home-plate and don't congratulate him when he hits home. Maybe just a demo thing?? But I figure if they came out, there should be some kind of celebrating.

LOL, just as you said that, I hit a bloop ground ball which Kazmir fields... he underhands it to first, but never lead the first baseman and it rolled all the way to the tarp.

It was like he was throwing to an invisible first baseman that was already there, as the real first baseman was trying to get there.

So my runner on second scored after his double (that was not ruled a hit do to some error that never happened)

Horrible.

Already tried that (and about every conceivable way too...lol) It's not there. It's based on local servers though and I guess our's is behind. No biggie...it'll probably be up soon. I'll check back.

Stat overlays when the player comes up at bat seem to small, and almost feel generic.

It lacks "pop" of a network presentation.

Nice that it has the stats it does, but just doesnt have that "broadcast flair".
