I tryed to pinch hit with rays/ wouldnt let me, but you can warm guys up. the reason I say this is when i got back in box I could see them warming up over hamels shoulder.....pretty cool

yeah i did. that's kind of cheesy. i got out of a pickle my first time being in one because of that. hopefully thats not a major glitch.

I was able to pickoff the baserunners every single time I threw over- I picked off 3 from first base and 1 from second base. Anybody else have this happen?

you can pinch hit. push down hit a to select player that's at bat, then use the trigger to go to your bench and sub.

Is the demo only out on the 360? I dont see it on PS3 network.

Loving the demo so far. A very nice change of pace from MLB 09 - particularly on the gameplay front which is a blast. There's flaws, but overall I am stoked about the direction VC is taking the series.

Looking forward to picking it up on day one.

edit: Pretty amusing seeing people with Show avatars and anti 2K signatures blatantly trolling this game.

I agree. The game seems much more fluid than 2k8. Seems like it will be a lot of fun. This game seems to finally have a personality.

Yeah the bashing gets old, but the less you respond, the faster they go away.

let me preface my comments by saying I did not play 2k8 at all

-Gary Thorne is awesome

-It seems like 2k had a lot to prove to the community this year, so the decision to only release a 3 -inning, optionless demo is mind-boggling...should have been full game with all the options available

-2k's fielding mechanic has been clunly and flawed going back to the original xbox days and it's no different here

- love the stick swing, but cannot wait to go back to button pitching , or I at least hope for a decent tutorial in game

- maybe it's just a case of needing time for me to adjust, but this baserunning mechanic seems awful

- hope the player faces are tweaked for the retail version

-bring on the sliders

overall, I think the decision I made to switch my pre-order to the PC version seems wise...this does not rate well as 60 dollar purchase if you are basing it off the demo

if the PC version isn't good I guess I'll but this year's Strat-o-matic to get my fix.....as awesome as the competition looks, I cannot justify buying a PS3 for any 1 title

lolololthe ball is hit to RF and Werth runs through the wall like he actually ran through the wall and whoever the phillies CF is had to run and get the ball instead good thing Navarro is slow cuz it wa sonly a double. This is the second time Werth ran into the wall and through it but the first time it was just a HR
