I'm guessing we will finish last, specially if they do end up trading Young.

Good to see that Young comprimised and decided to move to third to allow Andrus to make his debut. The offense is stacked, and with some pitching coming in, I think we could do some big things this year. I'm predicting Kinsler to win a Gold Glove, go the the ASG, and finish high in the MVP voting. This will be the year that everyone realizes that Kinsler is for real!

The line-up is just ridiculous, but there is, as always, zero pitching.

Watch for Nelson Cruz to do big things at the plate this season.

I expect to finish in the bottom half of the AL West despite scoring a lot of runs.

In other words, just another season as a Texas Rangers fan.

Andruw Jones with 3 K's in two games and 4 AB's...not a good sign.

Just read today that the Rangers are dumping the two-toned batting helmets, and will wear the normal blue ones most of the year, and will wear red ones when they wear the new red alternate jersey.

Thank God, those things were hideous.

Yeah, I almost puked when I saw the two toned helmets lol. The Rangers pitching is looking better this Spring, maybe this is the year that they turn things around? The renovations at the Ballpark are looking great, except they scrapped the manual scoreboard in left

Anyone like Brandon McCarthy so far? I'm hoping this is a sign of things to come and not like my days in theatre when a good rehearsal meant a crap show.

Something I found refreshing yesterday: young players that were OURS.

Across the board, I saw players that either grew up in the Rangers farm system, or players that hadn't really made a name for themselves until they became Rangers.

And these are gooooooood young players.

Chris Davis at first, Ian Kinsler at second, Elvis Andrus at short (wow!), and Michael Young at third. Saltalamachia catching, Nelson Cruz in right, Josh Hamilton in center, and Marlon Byrd in left.

And two really promising pitchers, Neftali Perez and Derek Holland, are said to be close.

I hate looking out at a bunch of Sammy Sosas, Milton Bradley's, etc, every year. There's finally hope to this team.

There's a local Honda dealership that ran a promotion that if you bought a car, they'd give it to you for free if the Rangers started 4-0 and the Yankees started 0-4. (I think that was the deal, but I know the Rangers-Yankees part is right).

Somebody's sweatin' it right now. LOL

I see a lot of promising pitching prospects in this list. And the article says the Rangers have 'the best farm system in baseball'? That's something you don't see everyday.

Tough lost against Detroit today, but Armando looked amazing.
