Well again, to be fair, we're just speculating at this point. But it just seems that if refs were in this year, that would've been the perfect blog to segway (SP) into it.

Yea of course right now this is all speculation, but if it becomes reality then this is how I feel about it. Hopefully we can get an announcement of refs returning when they discuss presentation and atmosphere. Again I'm not jumping the gun here guys and complaining about something that has not been confirmed, but if it's true this year again, then I'm going to have to pass.

        OMT,

I'm confused. So the end zones you have up on your blog are each team's bowl end zone artwork, not their home field artwork right?

UNLV doesn't have black end zones (at least they didn't last year). And they don't use that word mark any more. Their new stuff is up shown at unlvrebels.com. The logo I have on my avatar is old.

        Thanks

OMT, with the waving flag on the top of the goal post this year, any chances we will finally get hand towels as a accessory this year. *fingers crossed*

Since we're talking details I stand by wanting to see those doggone conf. banners change on your hm field/uni if/when you accept a conf. invite.

If you wanna get down to details EA...

Ian said they already had been playing Builds of Madden with the Refs and Chain Gang last fall............I don't see why that wouldn't of translated to NCAA given how early on that was added

You have a quote or link for that? I don't recall reading that.

I could've sworn I read either Ian or Phil say their playing builds with them in but heres the info listed in the new "Madden 10 Info thread'

                    * Accelerated clock, refs and chain gang on the field, classic control setting are all tentatively confirmed. In other words, 3rd parties have "confirmed" this information, but I don't yet have it from the horse's mouth.

is the kicking game a "detail"?

why they make it so easy to kick makes no sense

IMO..it is unexcusable to not have refs after having the license since 2005. "If its in the game, its in the game". Why are we waiting till 2010 to get field goal nets, come on people this is ridiculous. Then EA going to say they added another feature to there game, this is bull****. We should Be having alot more sim style in these football games, but to me EA is all about throwing the ball 50 yards and jumping around like superman. ALLPRO had field goal nets, refs on the field and interactive sidelines, that was a next gen game. So Is EA pulling our legs on this, we tired of the bull****, give us a realistic football game and stop catering to the cheesers.

Right. Those endzones are for bowl games and championship games only. Home endzones is based on photo reference.

I would like to see the answer to that as well..as hand towels are worn by the majority of football athletes

I think that has to do with them needing to tweak the system to add it. I remember hearing something about how adding towels could make the game drop below 60FPS due to the "physics" involved with the towels.Though I hope they get this fixed because NFL Fever had towels in 03
