    R.I.P. 2k sports baseball

Allow me to say what everybody on here is thinking, even the die hard 2k sports/baseball fans:

ANOTHER YEAR, ANOTHER BAD BASEBALL GAME. FOUR. YEARS. IN. A. ROW.

the previews on here have been bad, even the write up in GAME INFORMER eluded to problems and they are about as non-bias as it gets.

2k is now doing things that are simply inexcusable - taking AWAY features that have been staples in sports gaming for over a decade (customize create a player) and a feature that YOUR OWN COMPANY HELPED REVOLUTIONIZE (unique player jump shots in nba 2k8)...

Gotta say, it's hard not to be disappointed in much of what I'm reading. It sounds like a major give and take...and I'm not sure I like what was taken...lol.

I wouldn't go as far as to create a thread to R.I.P. the game, as I'm sure it will have some pick up and play appeal. I'm disappointed with what I've heard the aspects that I've always found important though.

Oh well...I'll still rent and see for myself before declaring the demise

      countdown to lock...lol...

As Tony Soprano says. "Always with the Drama".

There are ongoing convos about this in other threads.
