I know it is early, but could someone with the game give some online impressions? Gameplay smoothness? 14-day waiting for league? How the online chat works, L3 or open mic? Thanks in advance.

i just played my first game online and it was a lag fest...horrible and not fun at all

last year i did not bother to play online after i saw how horrible it was...and after one game...same thing diff year

i swung and missed a pitch and all of a sudden the ball is hit into play...

Other people had said there was no lag and it played extremely well...you seem to have a lot of negative things to say about the Show 09....hmmmm????

That isn't good news. Maybe the person you were playing had a bad connection. Supposedly this year during the team select screen you can see the other person's ping. Did you try any of the on-screen adjustments like positional changes or warming someone up in the bullpen?

i love this game....but the show last year was a joke online...

and my first game same thing....dont mean i hate the game..

i will try again later...but yea the green bar means good connection...so we both had it...but even he said it was wack...

i had the game since early yesterday and all day nobody can get online...so i dont know the body of these great impressions for online play is coming from...

show me the people that are saying it plays flawlessly....

did not notice that...i know i saw a bar on the top left that said..online and it was full green

last year it was red a lot which meant bad connection...

Appreciate it Guru. I would like to hear some more info like the in game adjustments (up on the directional pad), pings, mics, etc.

so what man....GURU said he had a bad experience online . WHy not believe him? we all had crappy online experience last year so it's not unimaginable for it to be bad again this year.

Guru is objective in his views and you need to be less sensitive about others' criticisms of the game.
