i have been trying to put together a roster with full minors and i got through 3 teams and it said i couldnt edit any more........theres a limit.....uh oh

Even EA got this right. FIFA old-gen had an editing limit. FIFA new-gen (and NHL 08-09) doesn't. Sad.

lol...I've got to sto reading this forum. It's making me not even want to rent the game.

If this is confirmed accurate...wow. I can't say much else as after reading the franchise freezing stuff has me pretty much at "game over" but this is starting to get a bit crazy.

I am definitely re-doing 2k7, what a joke. All these negative things, the one thing I liked was using the view behind the pitcher to hit. Too many negative aspects though for me, i'll save my 60 bucks. The more I read this 2k is shooting for a pick up an play crowd. I guess they really don't care about true baseball sim guys. Back to editing 2k7.

when you say there's a limit on edits do you mean there's a limit on the number of players you can create with the Editor? Or, do you really mean there's a limit on the number of changes (i.e. edits) that you can make with the Editor?

Yeah, could you please clarify what exactly you are doing?

Are you creating new players to replace the current players on a teams roster..or are you literally going though a teams existing roster and making changes...and if so, what kind of changes are you making (ratings, names, etc.)?

i find it very unlikely to limit edits on players because of the 2kshare feature... what would the point of including it be if you can barely edit!

hahaha. I was mad before when I found about the watered down player editing, but if this is true, it is sickening. The fact that the devs hid this from everybody knowing full well that a lot of their core customers, especially the ones on this site, love to add all the minor leaguers and edit stances and deliveries. I understand they have to make their game look good and push its positives so it will sell, but this would be cowardly. What an outrage if this is indeed true.

Unless it's a bug. Didn't NCAA have a bug this past iteration where editing rosters too far ended up freezing the game? It was one of the last couple (I don't really play that game though, so I can't be sure if it was this past year or the one before).

I don't know. It sounds odd, but if you would have told me you couldn't edit batting stances or play an exhibition mode I would have said the same. We'll see.
