The difficulty also concerns me. I'm sure the demo is on normal but I hope there's sliders to adjust in the retail. I'm not too interested in having squash matches over and over. It should be called Legends of WWE Wrestling Challenge if that's the case.:wink:

Yeah. But I played for two hours today, and even towards the end, I was still exchanging wins and losses with the CPU, which gives me hope it won't get too easy. Especially considering that as you said, the game is likely on Medium, so there should be at least one more difficulty to crank it up to if it starts getting too easy.

We'll see. The fact that I played a very limited demo for two hours, and still want more tells me that this is definitely going to be a first day buy for me. Hopefully I don't end up regretting it lol

I've been playing the Smackdown series since it's inception, and I don't find it cheap or shallow. Not as deep as SVR, but at the same time, it seems to do alot of things better than SVR.

I'll download this around dinner time and give my impressions. Hopefully it'll be better then my last "Oh I gotta get this" game as MLB2K9 is a bit disappointing.

I've found it to be more sim than SD vs. Raw. I played Rock/Austin again getting all the goals and then went to an exhibition match to try Andre. Austin's stats screen came up and it said play time was 7:15. That's longer than any match I had playing SD vs. Raw this last week outside of an iron man match and the AI vs. AI match in the Batista/Rey story. Kick out system needs fixing though.

Are the matches longer than 5 minutes in Exhibition mode? Do they lose thier stamina quickly after a few well placed moves or are you able to have some 10 minute+ matches.

Is that button icon still in the middle of the screen to tell you what to press.

I had one last 3 and a half minutes (standard SD vs. Raw time) and another last what had to be about 15 so it's possible.

I'm still not seeing the demo on the PS3 and they just updated it with stupid a** demos like for the Watchmen and I'm starting to get really p***ed off now

It didn't come out on PS3, probably next week.

I like the demo, game is fun, actually more fun than Smackdown vs. Raw.

I think the game is fun too. The controls is something that will take getting used to but overall I liked what I played.
