You know what on second thought it never hurts to have a little competition. EA is my game right now because they are allowing us to be involved with the game more then any other game has ever done.

If the Supreme Court Sides with American Needle, it would be a truly great day for gamers.

Thats very interesting. I would love for the whole exclusive nonsense to finally bite the bullet.

I would love to once again own multiple football games and baseball games and enjoy the best of all worlds, and once again have nice quality games cause of the competition.

Madden 2010 looks so very promising but I would also love to play a 2k football game with the current NFL teams and players.

          Lets see what happens.

This is interesting. So far Madden is looking like it's jumping into trusting arms, but if this ever went through anytime soon, I would be interested in seeing NFL 2K11?

As much as I'm in favor of Madden, I miss having a little variety out there.

Edit: I feel like I just copied Tyrant's post lol.

This case looks to be grasping at straws. But god do I hope they rule in favor of AN.

Very interesting to say the least...its like finally waking up from a very strange dream. These exlusive deals whether it be bands only selling an album out of one store or a sport being recreated on software by only one company, it just seems very un-American if you ask me.

Needless to say, competition breeds better results!

Won't happen, that would be like Coke in McDonalds & Burger King. I mean how far does exclusivity goes? Can the Yankees have a exclusive car or official car of the Yankees? Can any team have an official anything?

I heard once the MLB license is done they're done with the exclusivity stuff.

I hope the courts side with A N, i would love for 2k to come back to the NFL! Thats like my dream, EAs doing great things, i guess, but a 2k game is just more appealing to me.

                      Absolutely.

Where theres competition, the customers are always better off.

I have no love for EA or 2K. All I want is the best game for my money. I'm a "Me" Fanboy.

                        This.

Also, the video game market simply needs depth. After playing Madden 09 since it's release date, I went back yesterday and messed around with APF2k8 in practice mode, and I was blown away. Its mechanics are simply stunning, beautiful. But very different from Madden. Which gives the option of two games on the same subject, but both games going about different approaches to it, which is a great thing, and what football games need right now.

even if the exclusive deal with ea is done for lets say that happens
i dont think 2ksports can come out with a decent football game untill next gen people liked apf2k8 i thought it was "ok" but not amazing like nfl2k5 was when it was released.
i dont know what 2k would decide to do of course they want to make a nfl game but if they take apf2k8 and polish it make it nfl and add a franchise i dont think thats going to cut it.
if this exclusive deal bs ends i would hope 2k would do the smart thing and build a new football game from the ground up. and utilize the endorphin engine to the max who knows they might be able to get a football game out in 2 years of development time.

Man, one can only hope that these exclusive crap are gone. I hate it and not being able to have choice is horible. I wish both licenses are taken away. Both NFL and MLB
NBA2K is the standard of sports games period.

it wouldn't bother me if the license got taken away other then the fact that if there are other companies making NFL game..Ian would probably no longer allowed to openly post throughout development anymore and it would go back to hush hush til draft time.
