This info is way off! Ankiel's normal stance is no where close, and he doesn't wear wristbands, it's wrist tape!

              Go to that link:http://www.stltoday.com/blogzone/pic.../20080514c.jpg

He usually wears black or blue wristape, but that red is still wristtape!

Mather should also be at 3rd base if he isn't already. He is going to fill in for Glaus there.

OK I'll give you Ankiel's band thing, but the stance I listed for Joe Mather IS right. He is low with the bat over his shoulder... I didn't mean to put leave Ankiel's stance as is... it should be Jack Wilson. I originally had someone else's name there and then realized you guys had it right on here already so I went on to the next guy (Ankiel) and yeah...

Re: Birds On Bat: St. Louis Cardinals Thread

Well, Mather's stance in the game is up for debate. Jack Wilson's stanc has the bat right, but not the feet. Caroll's stance has the feet right, and kinda the bat, but Wilson's gave me more of a mather feel, but i stwitched to carrol because im using wilson for carlos beltran. And Jack Wilson's stance for Ankiel? That doesnt fit at all. I went with Langherans like the guy at the top said, because that's the closest.

Well, I don't think you can say one is right and another isn't. Its all subjective, and not everyone is gonna agree.

I updated my first post. After much deliberation, I think Mark Loretta looks best for Mather. I updated a few others, as well as added some. Tell me what you guys think.

I know Ankiel has a "hidden" stance in the game but is this accurate or no? Some of the posts here are conflicting and I'm not too familiar w/the Cards' players but it seems that Ankiel didn't have an open stance as the game shows.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

Ankiel's hidden stance is actually Stephen Drew, and is way off. I thin Jack Wilson is perfect.
