My name is in the game!

Hey remember way back when SCEA asked us what our last names were and they would maybe TRY to include them in the game? Didn't hear if anything was confirmed or not since then and I didn't press or anything.

Well I just picked up MLB 09 today and while creating myself, I come across "Last Name Audio". I go, "Oh what the hell, lemme check". I scroll over and OH MY GAAHH!! they actually did it!

I had totally forgotten about this until I created a player mind you so this was a big bonus for someone who was all excited about just getting my franchise going.

I called my brother (he also likes to create himself too) and just thought it was so cool for all they did for this years version.

I have been playing sports games for what seems like centuries lol and never had my last name in there. I had to work around it with something that sounded close, etc. Not this year!

Talk about the little things!

I don't think it was SCEA. It was EA for NCAA Football 10.

However, if I am wrong let me know...I want my name in the game too.....

LOL oh believe me, my last name has NEVER appeared in a sports game (or any game for that matter). And there's no one in the majors that has it so I know this is the work of SCEA

Same thing happened to me

I had actually PM'd Kolbe about it a while back and he said he didn't see it. So I was doubly surprised when I found it. Now if only I had the forsight to requst my first name too...lol.

I was shocked when my last name was in there....ive been getting very lucky as of late with my last name being in sports games...my last name is STULL and in NCAA the pitt qb has my last name....then when I was playing NHL 09 there are about 100 players with the last name STAAL and its pronounced the same and now the show has STAHL which is pronounced the same....AWESOME!!!!

They have mine as well. The only sports game that I have ever seen with it (even hockey games). Although they pronounce it how it probably should be (Gan-yawn) I go by the "American" pronounciation of GAG-NON, just like its spelled.
