    **Best Looking Ballparks**

Which stadiums do you guys think look the best?

For me it's Miller Park especially with the shadows.

I would love to say Citi Field because of my Mets, but it's just too generic looking. I look forward to '10 when they'll have the actual place to go off of instead of renderings.

Don't get me wrong, it looks great and is awesome to play at, but just too stale.

I am a Brewer fan and the park looks great, but the shadows are more like 5 pm shadows. I just wish they had true day games.

But to answer your question, I like the look of Petco Park and Comiskey err Cellular Field.

I don't think it will look all too different in real life.
The inagural season badge on the side if their jersey says it all.

I agree that CitiField is pretty disappointing.

As usual, it's SBC/ATT/PacBell/Whatever-the-hell-it's-called-these-days-Field in San Fransisco. It's the perfect baseball stadium IMO and looks great in '09.

The Giants stadium is pretty sweet, the glove, the water. Perfect. Just makes me even more amped for Baseball.

              So true.

Also, something about playing at Fenway is awesome. Miller Park is up there as well.

My favorite, however, is PNC. Really nice park with the city in the background.

I must say, since Citi is being mentioned, that the Prog is wrong again this year.

The LF doesn't have the pennants on the wall anymore, they are in RF, I think on the upper deck. They also have people walking in the batters eye picnic area during the game, when it's off limits and it looks as if they still have the old school scoreboard as well.

Nothing major, just disappointed that it didn't get fixed.

Being an Oakland fan ranks me out of the running here as the Coliseum isn't much to look at (outside of looking for my seat in the bleachers). But San Francisco, Wrigley and Fenway are 3 of my favorite looking parks in the game this year. They really did a great job with the look of the parks this year.

San Francisco, Kansas City, and Cincinnati get some honorable mentions on this side of the connection.

Also, whenever they get Ballpark Village up at Busch, I think that may be one of the best looking stadiums around.

I disagree and for one simple reason.

When I say "stale" it's simple. Outside of one little section in right-center, the walls are completely bare...that's the biggest problem. They are also missing the out-of-town scoreboard up in LF, the new Pepsi Cola sign (which would be generic) up in RF and the dugouts have nothing on them. They look like concrete bunkers.

Add some of that stuff in and whatever other little things the Mets will have which have not even been installed yet...it gets much better.

Not to mention that the walls are blue in the game and are going to be dark green in reality.

Yeah the LF wall at CitiField definitely looks weird being that big and completely blank.

As a Met fan...Citi is pretty disappointing. That field is as generic as it gets. By FAR the best stadium in the game to me is Camden Yards. A close second is Tha Nationals Stadium (whatever it's called.)
