Ian and co.; you guys are doing a great job, not only with working on the game, but in sharing the details of your work here on OS. Very much appreciated.

Very excited to see the finished product; I may have to go back to my 360 this year for football as I've been running 09 on PS2 and having fun.

Default is All Pro, I believe. Might be Pro. All Pro is the generally accepted "norm".
There are two types of people on OS: Those who disagree with me, and those who agree.

The first kind is wrong. The second is superfluous.

Have you finally killed the sugar buzz Madden?

        • Lowered global game speed + added game speed slider
        • New slider for "speed difference" to squish or expand the range of speeds among all players; used the ratings ranges for player speeds

This has bugged me for ......ever. Great stuff!

I know that this isn't the NCAA forum, and this isn't the NCAA blog, but it would be really sweet to know that all of these things are being implemented into NCAA. Can we get confirmation about what is/is not included?

Wow I was expecting something small this week and it ended up being huge. This was a great update. Love that the game will be slowed down a bit. Playing Safety was tough cause the passes came out so fast you really had to adjust quickly.

Loving the Qb drop back now that its at a slower pace. Cannot wait to see a pocket around that qb:wink:.

Looks awesome. With all these improvements, maybe i can finally put APF2k8 away and play as my lowly Chiefs. The Qb dropback animations look realistic. Seriously, if they have Signature QB throwing animations, im pre-ordering the game. Yeah, im that shallow...thats all i've wanted for YEARS..

I'm pretty impressed you guys weren't afraid of lowering the game's speed. A slower game doesn't mean it's less enjoyable (see: Killzone 2). The pacing and weight in that game are great.

LOL but they overlay a big ole 300 pound DT - and the DT still catches up to him with a 6 yard lead....goes to show how talented NFL caliber players are - (there was another thread about orlando pace and rocket catch)

I suspect so, since the game when first boots up is on 'pro' - I want to know the level where the game is going to play strictly by player ratings - and when the game boosts ratings to give the game a higher difficulty level.

Loving the realistic setup animations. Can't believe a dude on the blog page saying the game is gonna be sluggish! Those animations are very lifelike and paced well. Please don't listen to the goofballs. I'm already planning my trip up to N.W. Ohio with Countryboy to score this badboy as early as possible! Might have to actually pass on Fifa this year... Nahhhh.

A great product sells itself, no "back of the box" features required! (See Fifa...)

wow, after pretty much hating Madden since 06 on the 360 I actually have hope for 2010. Just hope the pocket is tuned correctly around QBs...if it is...consider me sold on Madden!

Everything looks great. This game just needs better Line interaction and realistic play and the WR and DBs need to play and be animated realisticly and I am pretty much sold.

Awesome work guys! Way to nail the 40 time in your game and slowing down the overall speed for realistic running lanes, cutback lanes, and the feel of a developing pass play. It will be very interesting to see the difference in movement between RB's like Adrian Peterson, Clinton Portis, and Mike turner in the upcoming weeks.
