in this video I talk about blocking 101 in real football the qb only has a few seconds to get rid of the ball but what makes or breaks a game is blocking. it stops the people from runnning to the sideline or back a million miles

They are holding off till im going to most likely guess the draft until they give us such an update on blocking, they keep making sure not to answer or acknowledge any blocking questions or remarks.

Awesome video to show Tiburon how to make a proper blocking video game. Hopefully, they'll be able to implement blocking like this or even better.

I haven't watched the posted video (I'm at work). But while on the subject of blocking I want to add something.

I hope that the offensive line can make some nice holes in the running game in Madden 10. I've been playing NFL2K5 much lately and I'm growing frustrated with the run blocking. Don't get me wrong, I love the collision detection (especially running into your own blockers) in 2K5, but they don't do a great job of opening up holes. I find most of my success running around the edges or to the outside. I don't want an easy running game in Madden, but I do want a fair shot of hitting some holes if I have the offensive line to run with.

At 2:40 watch the Center he is not trying to block anyone yet he has his hands up like a mime lol the Center looks funny and it happens I think the next play as well.

If you watch that posted video at about 3:38, you see a great example of a double block, which is absolutely a must for Madden if they are trying to make it realistic. Im not going to go into detail since its been complained about and discussed ad nauseum, but there is no reason we shouldnt see double (and even triple) blocks on NTs.

the blocking video isnt the best but its the best out there we can see on a game. I just hope ea can see this and respond
