    2009 Chicago White Sox

I don't see a thread for them sooooo here you go.

    I loathe Jerry Owens.

Well for all us Sox fans that don't like Jerry Owens, he was put on waivers yesterday and the starting CF job is going to Wise. http://chicago.whitesox.mlb.com/news...=.jsp&c_id=cws

          Nice comeback win yesterday.

Looks to be the same type of team though with all those base cloggers in the middle of the lineup. Four singles in one inning and you only come away with 1 run...does not bode well over the course of a full season.

A good thing to take away from the game is that Getz looked pretty good out there. Its only one game but it is something to build off.

Very disappointed in the White Sox showing during the first series of the year. All they could muster against the Royals was 5 runs in the three games.

The White Sox pitchers look pretty good only giving up 2 runs per game.

The offense is already stagnant. I know its too early to pull the alarm but the offense looks like it is going to need to rely on home runs again. Not a good sign.

Two good games to end the opening homestand at 3-3. It was nice to see the offense finally show up.
