Playmakers Rivals.com NCAA 09/10 Alumni Rosters

This is the download link for NCAA 09 Alumi roster file which has 40+ teams fully re-rated with depth charts assigned.

    http://www.sendspace.com/file/t7ijya

If you have EA Locker you can also retrieve the files from GT ea09sports for NCAA 09 file or GT playmakers1970 for NCAA 10 file.

Some interesting articles and research threads will be posted throughout the thread for each school created.

You'll find a lisiting of some of the GREATEST COLLEGE FOOTBALL PLAYMAKERS ever within this link if your a college football history fanactic like myself

I've been doing these particular type of rosters the last 3 years and with NCAA 09/10 being a great games especially post patch release I feel these rosters will help the game play even more because of the added overall awareness and skill ratings of the players I've edited.

These are "Alumni rosters" not "Classic rosters" because I feel these type of rosters take better advantage of Dynasty mode giving each team more players from this current era of football mixed with a few old school legends only.

On the file it'll include the following

1). 40+ teams from the Major Conferences (SEC, BIG 10, BIG 12, BIG EAST, PAC 10 and ACC) Plus a few smaller programs

2). Players Re-Rated based on ratings from Madden 04 through Madden 10 on all current NFL Players today

3). Individual Team Specific Playbooks (Offense/Defense) to fit that era of of Football with Adjusted Run/Pass Rations assigned to take advantage of each school's rosters created by me.

** Note there will be no assigned Spread Offenses. Passing attack teams like BYU from that Era will utilize West Coast system only.

4). Old School Players will be assigned DNA ratings based on Current players who they most likley resemble to me.

    Example:
Troy Aikman would equal Carson Palmer DNA

Barry Sanders would equal Reggie Bush DNA

OJ Simpson would equal Adrian Peterson DNA

    IMPACT/ALL AMERICAN PLAYERS
    JOE NAMATH
Led the Crimson Tide to the National Championship in 1964. With Namath as QB, Alabama went 29-4. The Tide's legendary coach, Bear Bryant, named him the greatest athlete he had ever coached.

    DERRICK THOMAS

Was a unanimous All-America choice in 1988. … Butkus Award winner in 1988. … Selected to the Tide's Team of the Century. … 52 sacks are 27 more than the next best total on Alabama's career list. Of all the greats who have played the position at Alabama, none dominated a game the way Thomas did.

    DON MCNEIL
He was a three-year starter on teams that compiled a record of 34-2. He was a member of two consecutive National Championship teams for the Crimson Tide (1978 and 1979) and earned All-America.

I have to acknowledge that Justin Goar's style in his Open Mic article helped influence the following article. Also, special thanks to the BR admins for the Open Mic topic this week. This made the article writing as easy as one can imagine...

Was it one of the 12 years Alabama won a national championship, or was it the year of "the one that got away"?

Re: Playmakers Rivals.com NCAA 09 Alumni Rosters

I would be very interested in this roster set. There are a lot of good names with it.

I'd be interested in what players would be on the Big 12 teams, espcially Kansas, Nebraska, and Oklahoma.

Can't wait to have the final product.

What Gamertag would this be under when completed?

      Thanks,

      KCRoyals

Kinda off-topic, but can you please post your sliders in the sliders forum?
I know that you posted them on sportsgamer.com before, and I had actually bookmarked your sliders thread there so that I could enter them into my game later, but when I wanted to do this sportsgamer.com was suddenly gone and I couldn't see your sliders anymore. So yeh, it would be great if you could post them again on OS so that I can finally start my new Dynasty.
