ESPN intergration this year?

The ESPN lincense to EA is talked about all the time when EA releases a game that doesn't use ESPN at all (Other than . little logo). I hope this year is different basically because this new Madden Creation team seems to be working harder on this Madden. What do you expect from EA this year with ESPN use?

Also it'd be great in franchise mode that week 12 til the draft to have Kiper's and Todd Mcshay's big board and Mock. This should be part of an ESPN feature.

Ian already stated that its not gonna happen. I wish they would utilize it also. NFL network, ESPN, and EA presentation should be implemented, just use different presentations for different game so that no one feels slighted.

They won't use ESPN, but they should make up their own "EA Sports Network".

Although, Head coach makes use of NFL Network and Adam Scheftler

I honestly dont care if they integrate ESPN, but they certainly need to do something to where it feels more genuine.

I know its a game, but part of the immersion is like we are actually watching the game on TV. Everything about EA's current presentation is generic and poorly done. Announcing is robotic and sounds extremely scripted. Obviously, it IS scripted, but does it really need to sound that way? At least 2k5 sounded like announcers actually do during the game. There were a few cases of repeated dialogue and cheesy commentating, but it wasnt nearly on the level as Madden has been in. Last year was a step in the right direction, but it still has a ways to go.

I agree with xanmank. EA Sports Network, or something like that, should be implemented, and it should mirror alot of what ESPN gives us. Pre and post game coverage, in game coverage, interviews, game ticker, non-annoying scoreboard, player stats and info during the game...you know how it is.

Sorry, didnt mean to turn this into another presentation thing, but its along those lines.

Me to, I don't care if they use ESPN either,..they just need to incorporate some kind of TV Network presentation format to the game.

Well they are not gonna give it up because that would make zero business sense.

And they will not integrate into the gameplay b/c of other issues.it sucks but hopefully they will figure out a good way to use it.

Why would EA get the rights to something only to not use it that makes no since. Its like them getting the rights to the NFL and then making a game like APF with made up teams that just dumb and a waste of funds. The last thing EA needs to do is waste money!

What a waste of money, they pay God knows how much for the license and the only way they use it is by allowing us to watch ESPN content, which is REALLY stupid i turned on my xbox to play a GAME if i wanted to watch ESPN i would turn my TV to ESPN.

This whole thing absolutely stinks. I know this above Ian's head, but someone over there at EA is an absolute idiot if they bought the license just to have ESPN tickers annoy me during what limited online play time I can suffer through.

If the NFL wants to promote the NFL network then they should push EA to use those "personalities" and such in Madden, and lets be honest here; the NFL network and ESPN are hardly competitors in any real sense of the word.

I like both, so put both in the game already - yeah, yeah I know not gonna happen - but it is really dumb

I still haven't heard a single explanation (real or alleged) that makes any sense as to why that are not using ESPN as part of the Madden game!!!
