Here's a few things I'd like to see the refs do.

1. Run down the field with the players.
2. Throw flags
3. Blow whistles(or at least have a whistle sound when a penalty occurs)
4. Have meetings on the field discussing the plays.

Anyone else have any ideas?

I can do without this one... boring enough during a real game don't need that in a video game... somethings are better left out of the game

Dang... yeah, the ball's been huge for years... was hoping they'd get that this year. I know it was talked about before '09 came out.

The handtowel looks a lot like an extra texture layer that just goes over the side of the pants.

As the above poster poitined out, Ben apparently wears his in the front over his crotch, which makes sense. I'm assuming the Madden one is on the side as it wouldn't look right as a texture in the front.

My honest opinion- Graphics aren't all that close to the top of my list of needs for Madden 10. Presentation is, but in my mind, that's more in the audio than the visuals.. crowd noise, announcing, things like that. I could care less about stat bugs and the like.

But- Ian, congratulations, You've laid the 06 "Artists Concept" Trailer to rest.

In the pic with Real life Ben...he's running, in the screenshot Ben is standing still, I'm certain the towel moves bro...they wouldn't go through all the trouble of putting it in the game and not have it be a dynamic or animated item.

I dunno... that thing looks painted on to me... It would certainly be a bazillion times better if it actually moved independently of the player. I would go as far as saying that if it is painted on, then just leave it out.

I agree and I still wouldn't complain. Maybe it is animated. But I wouldn't make the assumption based on what I've been told about animated accessories and hair. Apparently, they're really expensive to render and they consume a lot time to tweak and fix. That's not all of it, but I believe it's the gist of it. Not saying the towels are not animated, but I wouldn't flat out assume that they are.

Im going to go ahead and guess that you can choose where to place it in the editor.

Just like if we do end up getting hand warmers along with these, you will have the ability to put them in the front or in the back.

Assuming the hand towel isn't individually articulated and animated, I dunno, the upgrades are such that I would be satisfied with it for now. It can't be an easy thing to do, considering nobody's done it to this point.

Put it this way: If it's what they could do, considering all the improvements graphically, it'd be a very minor complaint at this point.

The giant ball, on the other hand...:P

So here is my list of what we see. Trying to go left ot right top to bottom as much as possible.

1.) Accuate arm bands/player equipment. Good Hand work also seen
2.) Names on jerseeys corrected.
3.) More examples of correct equipment. Ben's arm band.
4.) Team specific helmet design. #7 in correct place.
5.) Don't forget to bring a towel!
6.) Ref not only in game, but moving and reacting to the play.
7.) More examples of Correct equipment. One gloved Big ben.
8.) Another example of O-Line/D-Line interactions that will make or break this game.
9.) The Chain gang

Not circled is the Depth of field and lightning effects because, well you can't reall circle them.
