I would say that Big Ben not looking big enough is a valid complaint. I mean, that's one of his trademarks, that he is a big guy and hard to bring down. I want to be able to clearly see the difference between Big Ben and Jeff Garcia for example, and not only in height.

Re: New Blog and Picture!!
I agree. If the game comes out and the only thing people can find to complain about is the size of the ball. I would say that's one hell of a football game.Man please do not waste any time on reducing the size of the fricking ball. When the game is releaased and people start discovering the inevitable flaws it's going to be a "Man they spent all that time on the damn ball size" smorgas board of criticism. Nobody plays Madden and complains about the size of the ballComment

Re: New Blog and Picture!!
I think the ball in Madden looks a little too long..needs to be a little shorter and rounder.Comment

Re: New Blog and Picture!!
That's Alex Smith actually. Are people really complaining about the fingers on the laces? The arm of Roethlesberger being to skinny? Would you rather have the Jeff Garcia look, see picture of him in the Niners in this thread, all steroid like? Newsflash people not all NFL players have body builder bodies.
Listen Im all for constructive criticism but if all we have to complain about in Madden , as football fans and videogames fans, are the a few skinny arms, and the QB is not holding on the laces, and the FOOTBALL looks big, I think we are in for a treat.
Lets look at the big picture here fellas.
But some members have brought up some good points, to me Big Ben's overall size should be a bit bulkier other than that I think they did a fantastic job on the other player models in the shot.
Ps. They also forgot laboy's visor.
Please take note that most of what I say and post is made in satire.

Re: New Blog and Picture!!
As I read that, I begin to wonder though (I'm always wondering, lol)... couldn't that mean that if the towel is attached more to the thigh like the pic shows, that as the thigh moves the element (towel) moves on top of it but not independent of it? I wonder because the placement of the towel in the middle of the waist would for sure mean that the towel would need full animation to be pulled off, but where it's placed in the photo it can basically feed off of the movement of the players thigh because it's attached there.
However, I realize that last year long hair moved, so I'm thinking that this same thing could've somehow been translated to this. I think the placement of towel makes me wonder more than the actual towel itself (if that makes any sense?).
... just a thought...Comment

Re: New Blog and Picture!!
Fair enough but Big Ben still looks BIG in that screenshot, and his arm is not skinny, just not diesel as we are used to seein on QB's...BigBen maybe a big guy in real life, but as far as physic goes he is not a LB or DLINEMAN.Comment

Re: New Blog and Picture!!
Wowwww great shot and great info! After all the pessimism these last few weeks I'm sure Ian is happy to get some praise. As long as the game plays as well as it looks you'll be getting much more of it as time goes on. Good work so far Ian
