I love this game and can't even think of anything off hand that I'd want them to patch, but patches seem to be standard issue for sports games these days and I'm wondering if there's anything coming down the pike. A new fielding camera angle would be nice (and I know 2k added one in a patch a couple of years ago), but has anyone heard anything?

Uhh, they don't create post-release patches just for the sake of it. Games like Madden '09 and MLB 2k9 had major issues that froze games that needed to be fixed. They don't create patches to alter a camera angle.Comment

Regardless of whether they do or not, GTheoren is right. In 2K7 they did add another fielding camera angle. Never say never. It won't be JUST a camera update but no reason why they wouldn't include that among other fixes.Comment

I feel there will be a patch. There is no way that they will allow the Historical Stats bug to go without being fixed. Their emphasis this year was on franchise and that is a big part of franchise mode.Comment

I would like to see the amount of "botched" dp's by the 2nd baseball lowered. Or the many pass ball 3rd strikes where even the slowest batter reaches 1st. These 2 things do effect game play.Comment

I think SCEA will release a patch since it has been reported that 2K fixed the scheduling issues.
I would like to see the player have the choice of game time in season / franchise instead of leaving it random or pre-determined. This way people can play as many day / night games as they wish.
If a patch doesn't come, I would like to see some DLC in the way of more classic stadiums.What?Comment

Biggest thing you guys don't mention is that CPU roster control does not work properly. The lineups shouldn't change on you if you take full control of the CPU. Sure, Knight found a work around, but you shouldn't have to alter ratings to work around this lineup bug. I know a lot of you don't play controlling CPU rosters, so that isn't a big thing to you, but it is for many of us.
...and yes, I would like to see the scheduling problem fixed. That's all I need. I will be very disappointed in SCEA if they don't fix the first which is a problem with one of the options in the game. It worked last year fine, and should be an easy fix, but I don't know.
I also would like to know if the CPU comeback option is indeed reversed. Many here think so, I haven't played enough or with it on or off to be able to comment. I never noticed comeback AI the games I have played (with it on default off), but I admit, I have only played a dozen or so games so far this year.Comment
