The statement that the Wii can't have good sports game is is a sign of laziness or bias. We've already seen some very solid games (Madden, Tiger Woods, Power Pros, PES), and I'm sure that many more are on the way.

And did some one use the terms "sim" and "Madden" together? Not even Madden on the 360/PS3 is truly "sim," so please don't front. IMO, Wii Madden has a few great attributes that make it stand up just fine to the other versions.

EA canned this year's NCAA because the product is pure garbage AND it didn't sell well. If it still sold, even though the quality was poor, we'd see another iteration this year. I'm a huge college football fan, but even I wouldn't touch last year's version.
Been gaming since the Atari 2600, and hells no I won't stop!!!

      LOL.

I said that. I don't know about "fronting", my statement didn't imply that any version of Madden is currently sim, but we were talking about the Wii, not the 360/PS3 versions. However, it would be impossible to deny that the Wii version is even more blatantly--and I mean blatantly--focused to attract the little billy's than the 360/PS3 versions.

This. I can't imagine playing NCAA on that system. Makes no sense to me. Putting development effort into it will only drive up EA's costs and make us pay more for the real thing on Xbox or PS.

My son and I love playing the game together (he's 7). We have the Wii for the kids (my son loves playing it as well as my daughter 10 and my 5 year old son) and I'm a bit disappointed they are not even trying to improve the game for this year. Yes, I do like playing, but I'm not an avid gamer. I do enjoy playing as my favorite team and doing full seasons and I hope they make a come back with a much improved game in 2010 for NCAA 11.

With the economy the way it is, this is a simple matter of low return on investment. I would have scrapped this crap as well. I'm not disagreeing with EA being lazy, but some of you guys have to understand that this is a business at the end of the day. Some of you guys have the notion that it is EA's and any other game makers responsibility to not only please you, but everybody else...all at the same time. If getting rid of NCAA for the Wii helps EA get through these economic times, then so be it.
