Response To The Design Team [ Madden 10 Screenshot]

• Okay Im Glad that info for Madden 10 is coming out such as the screenshot that peter moore released the other day but i have some things i want to point out to you guys at EA that were not correct that i would like to help you guys adjust

again im not bashing EA seeing that Phil Frazier is officially a friend of mine and i would just like to help like always

Here is The Screenshot and My Points of interest :



Im Going To Point To #97 Bryan Robinson:

1. If you look at Bryans facemask it actually has 2 bars on the lower part as well as the top

Im Going ToPoint To #7 Ben Roethlisberger:

1. In the Madden 10 screenshot the black forearm band he uses looks more like an elbow pad than for his forearm
2. If you look at his hand towel in the Madden 10 screenshot he has the towel more to the right of his hip but in real life and the photo above he actually places it in the crotch area
3. In The madden 10 Screenshot Ben is missing the Steelers logo patch on his left shoulder (I noticed the superbowl patch nice stuff EA)
4. i could not see his left arm in the Madden 10 screenshot but he ALWAYS wears a wristband with his plays on it

Im Going To Point To The Chain Gang:

1. In the Madden 10 Screenshot if you look closely you can see the guy on the chain gang but there is one issue......he has White short sleeves on instead of the blue long sleeve jacket + Hat he should be wearing as you can see in the ben roethlisberger photo(above) and in the photo above......

Im Going To Point To The referee # 85 (which is Ed Hochuli in real life):

1. Okay in the Madden 10 screenshot the referee has 2 stripes on the left side of the jersey in addition to one in the middle and if i were correct he should have 2 on the other side as well since we only see one half of his body
2. If you look in my photo above of the referees back he has a TOTAL of 3 stripes on his jersey
3. The White Hat on the referee in madden 10 screenshot has a nfl logo on the back but in the photo above he does not have a logo on the back

Im Going To Point To #55 Travis LaBoy:

1. In the Madden 10 Screenshot he has taped fingers but in the picture above and in the Ben photo he is wears gloves

Im Going To Point To The Cardinals Gloves Color:

1. In The Madden 10 Screenshot You Can See That Bryan Robinsons Gloves are red but in real life cardinals players wear Black gloves.........see:Bryan Robinson,Travis LaBoy

Good observations... but I'm wondering if some of the stuff you mentioned is always the same... I mean do the chain gang people always wear that outfit no matter how hot or cold it is?... does the Cards guy always wear gloves, or does the NFL make minor modification to referee uniforms from season to season?

I'm seriously just wondering these things, not trying to bash you at all, I think you did a very good job of displaying and pointing out the inaccuracies.

1. notice in tampa its was nice weather and the referees still have the blue jackets on and also there are 3 guys to one side of the chain gang

does the NFL make minor modification to referee uniforms from season to season?

1. referees uniforms were changes in 2006 and will not be changing for a long time here is the article (Click Here)
2. Here is a photo of the only change that is made with referees in cold games:wink:

You missed the team colored cleats! Actually I do care about those, lol.

i had to re post it because they were bashing that i pointed this out because of nitpicking ........so i noticed the problem was the title of my thread was directed more to Ian rather than the design team in which i was helping with this:wink:

I still stand by my statement of liking this. Especially when it comes to details on players.

Regarding the cleats and thanks for the help lol, The main reason this bugs me is that it's hard to see teams that don't have those players with them.

Even a team like the Raiders should get love cause they don't necessarily have a color but you don't see 22 people running around with clean white/black cleats. You see white with a little bit of black/color and vice versa.

You can't recreate teams like the Seahawks, Bears, Panters without this. I could go on and on lol

Personally I don't think that it is nitpicking. It is only a true sample and unbiased observation of player's likeness that WE see on Sundays.

Very nice post.

I noticed the lack of a Steelers patch on Big Ben but the rest are all new to me and I think they should all be included in the game. This is Madden's 5th year on current-gen, I'm expecting a game that's just like what I see on Sundays.

Me personally that is crazy specific put good point out the specifics though.

But I don't think that a certain players like laboy would wear gloves every game. Not that I would know it just doesn't seem like its a every game thing.

EDIT: Having trouble showing a Laboy pic with the Titans, had no gloves, just tape.

Probably a stretch but no gloves here. All the Cardinals ones I saw had gloves so I would probably go gloves instead of tape.

Also on another note where are the attached/removeable mouth gaurds??? while were on the subject of specifics in accesories and what they wear.

Like when a RB is getting ready before the snap he usually puts a mouthgaurd in or when a DT or linebacker is getting in position before the play.
