Yea I remember the "black Yao Ming" was a prominent rookie face in my franchise. I think the best route for rookies is comp. generated faces much like ncaa basketball 09 has.

They could also take the NBA Live 09 approach and change every player into a comp. generated image (then again there way more players in the NFL) and the rookies in NBA 09 looked ridiculous so yea...
