That's not how it's going to look in the game, and to hell with the casual fans. The game's been broken or lackluster for three years and those jackasses still bought. They're the reason why we were robbed of video gaming pleasure, so they can just deal with it.

Re: New blog: QB Vision 3.0
A few things here...
For one, I love the fact that they are bringing back the cone. It'll add another dimension to the game entirely (as most of you know). I think the fact that the cone would have to be turned off in-game would make for a bad idea, why not just have an option in the gameplay settings to have it on/off/optional just like it was on PS2?
Secondly, (although I know this is still in it's early stages) I would absolutely hate to have the color coding implemented. I'm only saying this because I am reacting to what I see and how much (or little) information I've been told about it. I think it takes away from the human error aspect. Since in real-life you don't have some magic light guiding you to make the correct pass, you shouldn't have it in Madden either. I think the cone in previous Maddens was perfectly fine (just implement the new controls stated in the blog).
Thirdly, (again, I'm just reacting to what I know so far) does the field look really short to any one else? I mean, if I hadn't looked at the field, I'd say the Card's were only 30 yards out max. This might be a bit of an illusion since the cone is overtop, but I'm just saying. And since the field looks so small, the players appear to be huge.
I certainly don't want to be a downer, but I figure this stuff is miniscule in comparison to some things people are posting about. But don't get me wrong, I love the fact that they're bringing back the cone, I just wish I had more information about it...Comment

Re: New blog: QB Vision 3.0
While this may be a joke, Im still all in favor of bringing back some sort of vision cone
Gosh Heaven Forbid that People making Pre-Snap adjustment/anticipation become more important..........I mean we all know real QBs just hike it and chuck it off their back foot to a general area.....
Also Ian, one thing that I hope isn't fake is the Steelers logo on the field being correct. It was upside down in 09 and it looks like its fixed in that shot. Here We Go Steelers!!! Here We Go!!!
My CFB Teams: Marshall..WVU-Go Herd/Eeers!!!

Re: New blog: QB Vision 3.0
I don't think they'll take the sprint functionality away from the QB; they'll just take away the Qb's ability to throw the ball while sprinting, as they should; in reality, it's impossible to throw the ball while sprinting at full speed. If this is real, a few comments
Triggering it with RT and R Stick might be a bit more complex
I understand it might be over utilized, bu taking away the sprint functionality of a QB doesnt sit well with me. I dont play online but in my franchise, i sit in the pocket and only escape if i have to. Taking away the sprint functionality hurts.Comment

Re: New blog: QB Vision 3.0
Than how will the illegal fwd pass work? Most illegal fwd pass occur when the QB is sprinting...
Also throwing the ball at full sprint is possible but just darn near impossible to do accurately, if excluded it will not be realistic.Comment

Re: New blog: QB Vision 3.0
But you can say that about EVERY position you control. When you are the RB or LB or S, awareness always gets thrown out the window. Nothing is really sim when you are controlling the player - it's why its a video game.I'm glad their bringing back the QB vision; it's really the only way to make awareness a factor, which is the most important attribute for a QB. Let's say you're playing the Titans; without the vision cone, Young will most certainly be more effective than Collins. inexperienced QBs that are accurate and have strong arms will be just as effective as experienced QBs. That's not sim.
Obviously QB is the worst of these but I'd rather see a different approach. I'd rather see opposing DBs get heightened awareness when playing against QBs with low awareness (to mimic reading the QB) than play with a flashlight or some stupid crap on the field. Its too cumbersome and ugly. I prefer simple controls.
As long as its an option, them bringing back QB cone is fine for those that like it. This April Fool's joke has gone on long enough. Dragging this out isn't funny anymore.Comment

So many people (especially the casual fans) are believing this.
I knew it was fake as soon as I read the title.
Do you guys remember QB Vision 2.0? Thought so....Comment

For those that still believe this blog is no joke, look no further than the below quote from OMT (Producer of NCAA 10). It's dripping with sarcasm:
That was in response to someone asking if NCAA would also move to having two blogs a week.Comment
