I just posted RidensopeningDaysetV2.....more tweaks ,fixes..more accurate 25 man rosters, including The Hammel trade to Colorado which just happened minutes ago......lineup logic improved for certaain teams...some minor league teams tweaked....this is the roster I will use for Franchise play....again dont forget to use the workaround to eliminate stat glitch and I would advise using this roster to save a Franchise or two,today because you never know if SCEA's update tommorow will screw up the workaround againa nd leave this set with a franchise historical stat glitch.....thanks to all those who helped with ideas and info for this set and for those who just bitch and moan, if you dont like em...dont use em!

ridin wait wait be honest is there a big improvement from these to the other one u just post. the reason i ask cuz i just got done doing the music for whole al now it the nl turn and i dont want to do that again. if its just the 25 man thing that it, then i keep the ones u posted before. can i use the other one for franchise too?

this IS based off the latest SCEA update and those potential ratings are SCEA's...as for Andrus a B rating is fine...decent average,good fielder no power therefore in my opinion a B not an A.

I respectfully disagree. The kid is a GREAT fielder. The Rangers moved Young, an all-star, to 3B just to accommodate this 20 yr old. He's got a fantastic glove, can run with anyone, and will hit for average. Sure he'll go through slumps, but he's got the tools to man the SS position for a long time. With all these A's you tossed around surely a prospect starting at SS at 20 deserves the same rating.

Just use yours...updated transactions,few tweaks..i wouldnt do music overjust for the new set...

Its a great set, however, Elvis Andrus ishould be an A prospect and so ishould the Braves' CF Jordan Shafer. It is a great set and on behalf of everyone i want to thank you for all your hard work. It's a shame you rosters have Maybin and Cano as B prospects, and the most recent SCEA update has them both as A prospects. Fingers crossed that the update following the start of the season has both Snider as an A. Keep up the great work Ridin!

Not to be rude or anything, but there are only so many A potential prospects you can have in the game and there are prospects that warrant the A potential more than Schafer and Andrus.

Maybin and Cano are already in the game and are not editable.

Travis Snider is already in the game ans is not editable.

Not to be rude or anything, but there are only so many A potential prospects you can have in the game and there are prospects that warrant the A potential more than Schafer and Andrus.

I am well aware that we can't edit the potential of players, but SCEA can and once they see the starting lineups this week with guys like Maybin, Snider, Andrus, Rasmus, and Schafer towing the line in the big leagues, they will see the potential that has them rated by all minor league scouts as the very best in the country.

Perhaps Schafer should be a B, but i am a Braves fan; i'm sure you understand why i'd want our 3rd rated prospect given an A potential.

If you read my reply to Ridin on whether or not Andrus should be an A prospect, it is evident the kid is the future. He is a standout at shortstop and i dear say i'd be hard pressed to name more than one other prospect at SS with his upside.

Andrus is a great prospect therefore a B potential is fine....its all relative....he is not even being picked by most experts to be ROY, they are picking Wieters for the most part...he is a slick fielding, light hitting shortsop,not much pop, therefore in MY roster set a B is where i rate him..if you want, as you said I was just throwing A rated prospects around, the only prospects i rated A were the ones ranked #1 in their organization by Baseball America, Andrus is not even the #1 prospect in the Texas Oraganization it is Neftali Feliz, the Rh pitcher....

Their potential will most likely be based on whatever ratings SCEA will give them. Usually rookies first introduced are rated a C, but these guys might get a B and will most likely be given a potential near their current rating. However, if they do mash like Justin Upton did early last season, they can ge ta jump in both their overall rating and potential rating.

I didn't mean to offend you by saying you were just throwing out A's to prospects, i don't agree with a few of your selections, but that's understandable, we won't see eye to eye on the potential of young players. Your roster is, as i previously stated, superb. On the Andrus front, the link below shows he is the 21st rated prospect for 2009. Feliz is a stud, he is the 9th ranked minor league prospect.
