Trading future draft picks would be HUGE. And most importantly, at the beginning of a NON-Fantasy Draft Franchise... Make sure teams that traded future picks away are missing those picks for the first season in Franchise Mode.

If they got that right, and greatly fixed:

-Progression [still incredibly broken]
-Commentary [you'd hear some weird stuff multiple years in, mostly in regards to stats. *See next subject]
-Stat banners [you'd see banners saying "23 Rush TD's on the Season during Week 1 of Year 2 of your Franchise]

...Madden 10 would already have a much better Franchise Mode.
