    Teeing off?

The batting in this game is very realistic to the point of being too realistic. I am teeing off in ths game at this point where i know how to time pitches and aim the cursor so well. Is anyone else running into this problem. I'm playing as the royals and have the #1 offense in the league by far at this point. Alex Gordon is a beast and is leading the league in homeruns.

    Re: Teeing off?

What difficulty level are you playing on? With what sliders? No one can make any intelligent response without that information.

And how many games have you played?

And what does "too realistic" mean? I have no idea what that means.

If you are leading the league in hitting as the Royals, doesn't that suggest to you (if you are looking for realism) that your game settings are too easy?

Apparently you're only 1 out of like 100 people having too easy of a time. Play on a higher difficulty (HOF or Legend) or possibly try playing w/o guess pitch (By your post I assuming this was the "cursor" part unless it's the plate indicator) and see how successful you still are.

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.

what does "too realistic" mean when you say you're teeing off?

don't play on Rookie, and turn off Guess Pitch

Obviously your settings are too easy for you and you never mention what difficulty you are playing with. Believe me those things make a big difference.

i'm playing on legend and i never use guess pitch. I just have a very good batters eye and i use the power swing alot. i can tee off on most pitching. and know where to put the sweet spot of the bat. i'm the best offense in the league so far and games are getting easier. it's funny because i've been looking for a realistic game that emulates realistic batting and this game does, but i'm also very good lol. i just got this game 5 days ago and i'm a natural at this game or something. i'm not trying to toot my own horn either but i kind of am very good at this game at least batting. My pitching kind of sucks and i cant make a diving stop to save my life in this game no matter how hard i try so far. but batting is another story. i'm a free swinger. I'm like vlad the impaler at the plate. i rarely walk but i can hit anything man.

Agreed... To the OP, I'd like to see some of your boxscores (line screenshots) if you're having blowout after blowout on legend difficulty w/o guess pitch (and I'm assuming default sliders as well).

Now that is funny.. Deniro reference.. Seriously, if this guy finds legend difficulty easy, he must be like one of those Guitar Hero guys that can play the hardest song flawlessly while doin' a handstand and blowin' his dog. No offense, Kgin, the offense is to the Guitar Hero guys. Is offense spelled like that ? F it. Anyway, I tried legend in RTTS on the PSP version and I was battin' around .078 over like 20 or so games. I've been playin' on Veteran with default sliders and it's like real baseball. I play well too, so you must be MLB God '09.
