Re: MLB 09 The Show Patch Announcement From the MLB Development Team
No. Sony did a firmware update and on your XMB you have to scroll all the way to the left and do a System Update to play online (for any game).Comment

I tried that ...it says the latest version is in there so there is no need for system update...I played madden online and it worked fine..Comment

Do you think the patch will fix framerate issues? Like stadium specific and runners on base the game lags offline a bit...Comment

Re: MLB 09 The Show Patch Announcement From the MLB Development Team
I truly appreciate this, but it does suck that I will have to wait until possibly May before I can start any sort of real franchise.
Also, I'm not sure how closely the Devs have followed this, but any idea of whether or not the patch will kill Knights rosters in any way? Or on the flipside, make them even better?
Just curious.Comment

I get fielding errors and so has the CPU. I hope they will fix the Braves uniform issue. On the game, they wear the wrong hat with the "road" gray jerseys and the "road" alternate blue jerseys.Last edited by Bamafan3723; 04-08-2009, 02:32 PM."The best thing about being a football player at Alabama...winning...winning." -Mark Barron

Re: MLB 09 The Show Patch Announcement From the MLB Development Team
My guess is May 1st week. They have been looking into problems up until last Friday, when they said they would have an anouncement. They also have stated that There is development time, QA time followed by approval through Sony. So my guess is 3 to 4 weeks.Comment

Yeah, I was just guessing at how long it might take. Hopefully it won't, but given the sheer number of issues, I'm not holding my breath.Comment

I would LOVE for the night games to be fixed... I REALLY hope this is on that list...
At the very least, if it lets us choose day or night for the games, regardless of what the schedule shows.Comment

I play on All-Star and read the higher difficulty levels might be better but I'm not going to get my butt kicked on HOF or Legend just to see if I can get a realistic amount of errors. I'm already 11-18 with the Reds.Comment

Re: MLB 09 The Show Patch Announcement From the MLB Development Team
Do you use manual fielding or auto? If it's auto then they treat you like the cpu. I don't have a problem with the cpu making fielding errors. I also see throwing errors on both sides. But the user controlled fielding errors are far too low. Like I said before, I've played 35 season games and have committed a total of 3 fielding errors and NONE of them were scored as errors. I have ZERO officially scored fielding errors in 35 games and 29 of those games are with Cinci who is a bad defensive team. That's simply unacceptable to me.
