Actually he's saying overall. But there are a few areas where they kill 2k5 and 2k8. I think even Adem will admit that.

I did get the feeling the tweaks they were making were making the game a little more like 2K, with the whole slowing the speed down etc.
See it's been a long time since I've seen a new animation in Madden 09 (well it's also been a long time since I've played the game). Though I AM concerned about variety in animations, I was more worried about the fluidity and realism in the animations.

Looking at WR's run routes in Madden 09 is really painful on the eye. They're extremely robotic, they lack any kind of fluid motion, they accelerate too fast and rarely decelerate. I know this was addressed by Ian in one of the blogs, but I wanted to know how the guys felt about it now that they've seen it in motion.

This question is more focused on LBZ since he is a defensive minded player, but if any of you want to chime in thats great. I have always been a defensive Madden player. I play field position football and great defense. I am a Baltimore guy so obviously play as the Ravens. In the last gen Maddens (partiularly 00-05) I could play this way and be very competitive. Since next gen, playing defense has been more of a chore and just hasn't been any fun. (or effective)

My one question is, in your opinion, is this the year we can play great defense and field position football, and actually compete against even the best offensive players? A simple Yes or No would be just fine with me Thanks guys!!
Same i just want to know if i can have an impact when controlling a DB.

Too broad for an unfinished game. I'm gonna pass on this one.

Still gotta wait for them to put up the OL vs DL blog, but I can comment that this was one thing I sent heavy feedback on in terms of a pocket. The OLB's were running too far inside and hence even when you sent both from the outside, there was no pocket at all. Unlike the 4 man line defenses where the DE's were getting up the field and forming a pocket although too slow for my taste. So I emphasized the OLB's running the arc and like the DE's in the 4-3, they should be on the same level as the QB when he reaches his final step in his drop, unless they are doing a spin move back inside or something. We'll have to wait to see on this one, but I need it since it is my favorite D.

Hey Adam, many thanks to you (and the rest of the gentelmen) for taking time out of your day to entertain our questions.

You probably can't answer this, and if that's the case feel free to ignore this post, but do you get the feeling that Madden'10's franchise mode will come close to rivaling what we saw in NFL Headcoach'09?

                      Thanks again.

                            question for the Elite 8...

Are you guys going back at some point to see the results of your feedback or do you have to wait until you get the retail? I understand if this can't be answered.

                              Understood. Hey I tried.

Hey did you happen to spend anytime with Franchise mode at all? Or was that strictly Adem's area? If so, any tidbits or comments?
