    2009-2010 Schedule File

I made a schedule file. Let me know if you find any errors. This should save some serious carpal tunnel. Make sure you unzip it.

Yeah, thanks for the hard work, but what do you do with this? Do I just dump it in the usual 2k5 folder with Xport or whatever?

          Re: 2009-2010 Schedule File

          Unzip the file to:
          C:\Program Files\NFL 2K5 GameSave Editor\Schedules

          2k5 Editor available here: http://web.tampabay.rr.com/flyingfinn/roster.htm

Load a Franchise file after preseason games have been played then use Finn Editor and load a schedule. More instructions are in the help file for Finn's Editor

          Load the 2005 schedule:

Through the editor, it is possible to play the real NFL 2005-06 schedule in any year of a NFL 2k5 franchise file. In order to do so, the franchise must be saved after the pre-season is over, if it was enabled, but before any regular season games have been played. Thus, when clicking Schedule in game, you should see Week 1 of the regular season with all teams ready to play their first game. Open this game save in the editor and you will notice a Schedule tab is available

NOTE: The year displayed will be current year of franchise game save.

Click this tab, to get the Schedule grid.

NOTE: The Load Schedule button will only be enabled if you are at the correct point in your franchise save as outlined above.
Once there, click the Load Schedule button to select a different schedule. You will be prompted with the Select Schedule dialog. Choose the schedule you wish to load:

NOTE: Only 2 schedules exist at this time. More will follow along with a Custom Schedule Creator
Selecting the 2005-2006 schedule will update the franchise file with the real NFL schedule for this year. The year displayed will be updated to 2005 (in-game as well) and the Super Bowl will be played at Ford Field, Detroit MI at the end of year.

Once done, save the file, transfer back to the Action Replay Memory Card and load from within the game.
          Export Schedule:

In addition to loading a schedule, you can export any schedule the game generates for use in a different franchise. Click the Export Schedule button, give the schedule a unique name and select Save. The new schedule will be available the next time Load Schedule is activated.

I see you said the last game would be at Ford Field. Is there a way to change the Super Bowl site? I didn't know that.

What was listed is directly from my help documents. It is out of date as it is referencing the 2005 schedule which, of course, ended with a Super Bowl in Detroit. However, since we have now passed all the Super Bowl Stadiums that shipped with the game, any schedule from this year forward will be a fictional stadium (and the same stadium every year).

                    Re: 2009-2010 Schedule File

Is it possible to SIM through all the 2005 to 2008 seasons in the game up to the end of the 2009 Pre-Season Franchise, and then import the custom 2009 to 2010 schedule, just to get the CPU to think it's 2009?

Also - is the Superbowl in 2K5 in Detroit every franchise year? Or does it change randomly? I never really paid attention lol.

                    Thanks.

OK, I downloaded the schedule, but when I opened it up, several of the games were chopped off. Indianapolis had only 14 scheduled games, and 10 other teams only had 15 games. I know this has to do with the bye week expectations of the game. I was wondering if there's anything I can do to fix it on my end? Thanks in advance.

I think Finn's (on the reg. page) is the actual schedule with everything correct. Mine is not as I did it before the real one was released. The teams all play the correct opponents, but the dates, byes, etc. are off.
