Awesome work on the 2009 rosters my friend!

Question...are you going to be doing "all time" teams or various classic teams from years ago like 61 Yanks, 65 Dodgers, 75 Reds, etc?

I know I'm crazy...but both.

Guys have been asking for All Time teams...that's first.
But I like full regular one season teams...so I'll be doing that also.
That's actually my favorite way to play this game...a season with year specific teams.

Wow. That's going to be awesome. I'll have to decide which season to play most. Real season, all time or year specific.

Love playing with the year specific teams in a league...doing so since MVP 05. Great news!

Have you finalized the teams for that set yet?

What I've been using is OOTP 9. (Out of the Park). There's a guy that has created a game that has *all* of histories best baseball players. He has everyone, from Babe Ruth to obscure relief pitching. It's perfect for creating historic teams. He's researched each player really well and their attributes on par from their best career year. Works really well.

If you play OOTP I can find the link for the savefile for ya.

If you want, and if no one else has done this already, I could move the MLB players down to AAA, so that way you can have both historical and current teams. Just thought I would try to help out if you need it while you are working on the final two versions if the current rosters.

I don't know if you guys have used my LEGENDS rosters for past versions of the game....and I hate to toot my own horn...but I do a very good job with them. It's my "pet project" and I have the most fun playing my games with the "Old Timers".

That being said....I'm ALWAYS open for suggestions and usually go with any requests I get.
When I'm starting...I'll definitely start a thread.....AND will take the help!

White Sox...this is what I have to do...
I send all the real players down and get up the editable fake players.
What's nice is this year....I get to go a little further and do 40 man rosters at least!

I would love to see year specific teams! If only we could play in classic stadiums, too. That's actually been a long-time dream game for me - where the entire game is fully immersed in a specific year (or era) of baseball.

If only SCEA could expand their operations to create these games, where a different year comes out each year; but the lingering question is whether or not there is a big enough market. Maybe not, but one can dream!
