Out of curiosity, how do you plan to have it done so early?

All that work after knowing who gets drafted and where would take me a lot longer than a day or two.

All the small school players that'll have to be created, all the ratings adjustments, height/weight adjustments, position adjustments, trading draft picks, free agency moves, contracts, coaching moves/defensive schemes, retired players that need to be created... am I leaving anything out? It's a seriously daunting task.

Im pretty sure he has alot of that stuff done before the draft and as long as you get about 50-65% accurate ill download it. Thanks sjoh007 for your hard work dude.

You're right, I don't know who you are. I've never seen you around. But then again, I must not have been paying that much attention. I'm usually doing my own franchise starter files.

I started a new profile to match my user profile.
But either way, I hope the franchise file turns out good. It'll save me for having to do all the work.
And if I don't like it, I'll make my own, again.

do a search for sjoh007 threads and you will see the many rosters and a founding member of the orginal "os ncaa football community roster project " ahh those were the good ole days.

Do you do "rosters" with CAPs or a franchise file? Maybe I haven't noticed because I've always looked for franchise files each year. And I never find any, or any good ones, and then I do my own. This year, I decided I wanted to get more serious about it because I didn't think anybody was out there doing it. And I've been around for a long time. I never posted much, but I was around before OS even started. I don't think it was started, because back then I was posting at MaddenMania.

But it's not like we're in the military here, there aren't any ranks, so who cares who's been around and who hasn't. I don't remember any franchise files with draft classes that I liked.

sounds awesome cant wait... just a quick question.. will the rookies have the ratings they are gonna have in madden 10? or the ratings they come out in the game as? either way cant wait to use them
