APF's problems are miniscule in comparison to the feel of Madden. I'll take inconsistent line play, DB play, kicking glitches, ball bouncing issues, and the small user-base over anything Madden has released, ever.
That being said, it is one of the main reasons I'm excited for this year's Madden: some core things that are great in APF seem to be getting addressed in this edition. Give me interactions and you'll give me a game I'll play daily until 2011.
For those who complain about "delayed movement" you have to know that's completely intentional right? I think it's genious to give up some control in order to have realism. It furthers the chess match... there's more than just "stick" to a football game. In fact, the same level of "stick" is in APF, it just takes much forward vision in making moves ahead of time.
It's a different style, which I FAR prefer. No ice skating players
When I see Madden Nation I don't see a chess match.
