Operation Sports NFL Mock Draft: Picks 11 - 20

Guys-

It's a mock draft meant for entertainment purposes. Last time I checked, Operation Sports is not a website dedicated to NFL Elitists and the 2009 draft.

OS did not send me to the combine this year (can you believe that!?!) to properly scout these players, so you might as well blame them for this mock not being 100% accurate.....as if that is even possible with how unpredictable the NFL draft is every year.

If you are really that concerned with how off base these picks are, then go over to Mel Kiper Jr's site on ESPN. If you want to have some fun speculating on some picks and how they may effect Madden, then this is the mock for you.

Everyone lighten up, relax, and just have some fun...half of these picks will probably end up getting traded anyway since the economy is so bad and no one wants to pay top 10 money.

This is probably the WORST mock draft I have ever seen. The Jets already have a TE. And the Saints drafting Harvin? ROFL. Stick to videogames guys.

That's the worst Saints pick I've seen on any mock draft. Why would we pick Harvin with Malcolm Jenkins still there? And their offense is already unstoppable.:wink:

Note: Malcolm Jenkins is not a cornerback at the NFL level. Mid-20's pick at the earliest.

Jenkins 40 was .13 off the fastest at the combine.. Corners who get moved to safety run a 4.55 when the fastest time was a 4.3, not 4.42

out of every participant at the combine, guess who timed best at the three cone drill.. guess who tied for fourth best in the 20 yard shuttle with V. Davis ( a pretty decent athlete as well)

Jenkins was never a burner at tOSU, so it's not like his stock took a hit with his "disappointing" 40

talk of Jenkins to safety is based on his ability to tackle

I'm a skins fan and there is no way that they'll draft a short, fast wideouts. last time i checked santana and antwaan were short and fast. the only difference between the 3 is that maclin is faster. skins need to go pass rusher, o-line, or qb in the 1st round

Why would the Jets take a TE with there first pick. Did you guys watch any game last year? Dustin Keller was our best receiver. Any if I'm not mistaking didn't the Jets pick him in the 1st round last year?

Wow, anyone the last part of your post is the reason they need a WR. The have Stuckey and lost Coles, so why wouldn't they draft a WR? Or a QB for that matter. Anyway, nice try but, I don't think they are going to draft a TE again in the 1st round.

If that happens they'll be like the Detroit Lions but, with TE instead of WR.

The only way the saints go offense is if they go running back. They should not take a running back first round IMO but I could see them doing that. They really should be concentrating on the defensive side of the ball and maybe take a back in the 3rd or 4th rounds. As a team that wants to pass the ball a lot there is no need to be paying 1st round money to a running back. Also, with colston, moore, meachem, and henderson, a very good receiver, one who has shown some solid potential, and 2 legit deep threats when they spread the offense out, plus with reggie being able to catch like he does and jeremy at TE they aren't going to be looking that high for another pass catcher.

The Eagles are not gonna draft Beanie Wells at 21. They are gonna trade that pick for a couple of later round picks and get a RB and a TE later. Everyone says they should draft Pettigrew, but they won't. Why? Cause the Eagles NEVER go after a sorta big name offensive player in the first rd. unless its an OL. They seem to go off the grid when it comes to who people think they should draft and who they actually draft. Ok yea they made a good choice drafting McNabb over Ricky Williams. But what about when they drafted Freddie Mitchell over Reggie Wayne. Their excuse was "character issues" with Wayne. What? Where's Fred-ex now? Yea they took Desean Jackson last year but they wasn't gonna spend a first rd. pick on him. Thats just how they do things.
