Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
Was about to post the same thing. Worst part is, last year anyway, it was sort of the default helmet, meaning you had to go through and change them all if you didn't like them, and that meant changing it for 80% of your team.I am become death
Do not underestimate my apathy
Chances guys who claim a game sucks will cease posting in a forum devoted to that game: 3%Comment

Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
Crabtree didnt used that facemask he had this one!Yeah, the one Tebow wears is in the game (added last year). It's the other Revo one or two (actually three) that they still haven't added in the game.
1) The one Harvin and pretty much every other UF skill position wears, Orakpo, Crabtree, etc.
2) The one Bradford, Chase Daniel and several other QBs wore.
3) The new Revo Speed that starting showing up towards the second half of last football season. Spikes and Moody. I think a couple Longhorn's were wearing them as well. Pretty sweet facemask actually.
I just don't understand why these are not in the game. OMT said something about the company itself has to send the artwork to them for it to be put in the game, but I could be wrong on that.

Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
Equipment, facemasks, helmets all need a major renovations and it pisses me off we have to wait a another whole year for it. Now that team builder is in this year...More time can be spent on equipment next year. It needs a major overhaul...Comment

They still got in wrong in 09 which is no surprise they did a horrible job of assigning facemask everyyear. You looking at the Chair MAN!

Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
Not a fan. It looks like the spent a lot of time on the upperbody but didn't touch the legs.
Being extremely picky here but if you look at the pic of Crabtree catching it in stride his legs look the same as the offensive lineman in other pics.
They just look off.Comment

Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
I just laugh how EA can have players for two players two different years, that wear most popular revolution facemask on the cover, and none of them think...Hey we dont have the in our game...Maybe we should add that.Last edited by eritraj; 04-23-2009, 02:05 PM.Comment

Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
the players still have that white glow around them, shame since Madden got rid of that in 10Comment

Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
Yeah the cleats need a big update. Also, generally teams will be specifically Riddell or Schutt, that's why you don't see any Texas Tech players wearing Revo. Some teams are exceptions, but I am almost certain that Alabama is strictly Riddell.Comment

Re: NCAA 10 New Screenshots
An open plea to EA:
PLEASE put the option to mess with the equipment (hell make it so they can make cool "fantasy" face masks too) in the damn game so everyone who is so mortified about the facemasks can play "Barbie dress-up Football 2010" and then they will be happy campers even if the game sucks a$$ and plays like shyte!!!
On a more topical note...the animations for running certainly do look to be the same..I just hope that in full motion they are smoother than on the PS3 this year....I HATE the replays that show guys clearly missing strides and doing some really weird warping on long runs....
The Crabtree shot of the player grabbing a pass without jumping (ie. in stride) is very nice, but I remember seeing things in previous years "sizzle" trailers that made it seem like hitting WRs in stride would be in game too (and sadly that has never really translated to gameplay very much if at all)...Comment
