yea obviously i'd love to add instead of swapping as well, but honestly there are 120 teams i think everyone could find at least a handful that they can do without in exchange for a really well done CAS.

I dont wanna play Div 2 Southwest. I wanna play a real team. It is half-***ed when you have to remove a team in FBS to add some other school that doesnt play in FBS IRL which is my point. If they havent found a way to do it right then they should have left it off. If you cant make it so these team cant be FCS school in dynasties then leave it off. So the number of FBS schools still stay at 120 and whatever extra teams go into FCS pool.

Then take them off your schedule and add a real team... You do have that power...

I don't think it's a waste of space, but I do agree I wish you could add teams without taking out FBS teams.

I would hope at the very least, we could replace the generic FCS regional team with created ones, but that doesn't seem likely. just flat out adding new teams would cause havoc on the schedules in the game and would make the schedule unreal.

Im sure this doesnt bother people and they'll be prefectly ok removing Arkansas St or FAU with a FCS school or some fantasy school but it just seem kiddie to me. But Im no ***** so Im happy for all those who wanted it but I am going to express myself. And IMO FCS schools was way more important than CAS. But they could have killed two birds with one stone but it looks like there dropping the ball on this one.

Omg you guys with this "this is not sim stuff". Is it realistic that in my OD I am undefeated w/ Vandy in yr 5 by recruiting 5* players and implementing my offensive scheme I borrowed from Air Force. Nope, It will never happen in real life. You guys need to use your Imagination on some things.

Completely missing the point. That would mean I would have to play a school that I dont play IRL. I want my play onfield as real as possible and I want the same for my leagues.

The schedules shouldn't be affected if you swap out FCS Southeast with let's say App State since the schedule for FCS Southeast never mattered in the first place. They were just dummy teams you play against in your schedule.

the schedules wouldn't be effected if you replace the FCS regional teams, no. but if you just add a team to the FBS, so it becomes 121+ teams, then yes, the schedules would really mess up. thats what i was referring to.

I agree with you MAC that other stuff need to be corrected but that doesnt change this subject any. Once again if they did this right everybody could have got what they wanted instead of this give and take relationship we have been going thur with NCAA.

So yeah, there's certainly valid criticisms coming from people who would rather have something else. But that's also unavoidable, considering everyone prioritizes things differently.

Yep. That's really all it boils down to. TeamBuilder was not something I was particularly clamoring for, but as an alum of an FCS school, I am happy about it. And IMO it's a better feature than 95% of the feature requests I see on this forum. Not everyone will be pleased like you said, but this feature will please a very good percentage of the customer base.

But 10 to 15 years into a dynasty the game decides your OOC schedule.... Well other than rivals.

Im not trying to call you out. You have been the most respectful towards us that have wanted the feature for some time. And I do respect your reasoning behind why your not going to use it.

That's interesting, I wonder if the FCS Region teams will be swappable. That would be cool. Real schedules are only announced a few years in advance so people could pretty much swap out all the ones that are on their favorite team's real schedules for the next few years, and that would be that.

99% of players are not going to recreate FCS schools just so they can put the "real" FCS school on their schedule instead of the generic regional one. It's not worth the dev cost. TeamBuilder on the other hand will appeal to a lot of people because people will put in the time and effort to create an alma mater that they are actually going to play with. da Throne just hasn't accepted that the elements of realism that he is desperate for is just beyond the wants of almost everyone else.

Thats a good point but I guess when I know I dont play that school it bugs me. That 1 is on me completely and Im being selfish about that 1.
